@ sick of bitchy...

Im going to do something really crazy and actually Defend Jack.

He does have a job and a life (as far as im aware). Thing is, we, the small(ish) Joystiq fam need defenders and attackers in each camp.

Jack keeps us NFT memebers on our toes. Noone takes anything anyone else says to heart. If you do, you're probably the one who needs to grow up.

And it's a pissing up the wall contest, not whose dad can beat up who. Fucktard.

Sorry for the double typo on that last post.

yes kudos to Joystiq. They are responsible for keeping discussion on topic. Jody used to be an example for sticking up for things based on facts, but I guess JONT got into his skull and now he's just a blathering idiot as well.

I read this site everyday, yet was reluctant to post because no one would read it or just assume it was a fanboy's assesment of the situation. I have been gaming for over 18 years and think that I have a handle on today's gaming culture.

I like to make posts to spark coversation, not to ignite some fanboy war. Go over to destructoid if that's the kind of converation you are looking for, and keep the informed people over here at joystiq.

Face it Kye, the Xbox 360 is in a losing battle. Despite having both better Hardware and Software it just doesn't appeal to people outside the Hardcore. Its time to face facts. Hardcore gaming doesn't matter anymore. And I'm about to turn 21, so that means I'm old. I'm retiring from those damn dual analogs, guide buttons, and next gen graphics and sound. JodyAnthony and Crono convinced me. I know we were suppose to "finish the fight", but I give up. Nintendo is the champion, look at the consoles it has sold. Just astounding...

I thought you guys were NDF, Nintendo Defense Force?
"Force" just sounds cooler than "Team," anyways...

Anyways...
You don't have to pledge allegience to any one company. It is possible to like two of the current consoles, or even all three.

Me? I only have a Wii now, 'cause I'm cheap and don't like spending a lot of money for a game box to just sit there and do nothing. When 360 and PS3 come down in price, I'll get them.
There are good games on all systems. This is truth.
There are crappy games on all systems, as well. In fact, the more popular a system is, the more attractive it is to shovelware developers.
With the thousands of games on the first two PlayStations, how many of them are actually any good? Maybe a couple hundred?
Wii's going to have lots of bad games. There's no avoiding it, since the install base, and lower development costs are very attractive to a lot of companies.

But, even so, 360 and PS3 are not without their rubbish. Bomberman - Act: Zero, Sonic the Hedgehog (2k6), and Gundam: Crossfire, anyone?

Why hate? It's really pointless...

Hmmm @ LonshotX

I don't believe this, but I guess it won't hurt to give you a chance... *he throws him the heart ring*

@ BPM

yeah, I guess force does sound more dynamic. And i do like the xbox's as well (and can even admit to admiring the PS), so dont think Im narrow minded

here's a whose who list of the ND Force so far.

Nintendo Fanboys
----------------

JodyAnthony (fire ring)

Nintendo Fanbot (faithful mysterious helper)

Fatass of Kickassness (him really!? joking, blue lion)

Fernando Rocker (aka wiind ring)

Summercamp (yellow lion)

Keif (master of the wii remote-nunchuk... nunchuks)

Kye (earth ring and black lion - yes i get two)

Rubang B (green lion and master of the sensor bar grapling hook)

Silky Love (red lion)

Ken (water ring)

And now sporting a shiny new heart ring LongshotX.

N.B. Nintendo fanboys have already reserved the sole right to express our defending in terms of Voltron and Captain planet.

...And I'll form the head!

Now if we could only get the heretic Jack Of No Trades to forgo his blasphemous ways then the NDF powers would be unstoppable.

That would be a bad thing LongshotX

We need balance... I mean, how many episodes of [insert show here] would there be if they killed [insert head bad guy here] right at the start?

We need a powerful enemy (who keeps evading ultimate defeat) to have a purpose.

You are young, but learn you will young jedi.

Oh yeah, and I'm the head.

You use your heart ring to find out what the monkey knows. You can always learn a weapon if you like...hey I know, Wiimote lightsaber. There you go.

Rubang B has just updated the firmware of his green lion to become a 2-headed dragon that uses flaming GameCubes duct-taped together as his flail.

That is all.

Great! Now that you've all chosen your characters, I'll fullfill my role as dungeon master and command you to leave this forum for atleast 1 day and go play video games... or you can roll the dice and risk decapitation in the Room of Trials, your choice...

I honestly couldn't give a damn about the wii online capabilities because so far I haven't been able to get my Wii online. I will be very keen though if I eventually get it online. Need to contact the router company to see if they know exactly how to get the router and wii working in harmony.
