They should play some kind of Akon song in that trailer since the game is called "Conviction." or not...

I guess you didn't read the last article about this game, ChronoZaga. He hides in crowds rather than shadows now.

Wow, Obviously you guys dont know that there is more than one kind of stealth. It art of distraction and misdirection is apparent in this trailer. See how in one part, he shoots and blows up one area of the game put then his blends in the crowd like a normal scared civilian to get to the area he needs to without being detected. Very awesome possibilities at hand with this game. This and Assassin's Creed will fight for top spot in the stealth genre this year or next! Woot!

Also, Brains FTW!

Remember back when the original Xbox was out and the latest Metal Gear was just realeased...a few months later the Xbox got the first Splinter Cell as an exclusive for 6 months or so. It was truly amazing and completely out did Metal Gear.

This looks to be a repeat of the same situation. PS3 is going to get Solid Snake in Fall 2008...but long before that the Xbox 360 will get Sam Fisher this fall.

What happened to my favorite stealth series? Why is Ubi doing this to Splinter Cell. It's way to action-y now

We don't know what the game is like. It's not out yet. That is only one level. It would be like if you only saw the snow level in SC:DA and decided to make your decision. I say let it unfold; it does say "work in progress" in the lower corner after all.

Hmm... I was really excited about Assasins Creed, and then I saw this and now I think, "Hey, it's...Assasins..Creed..." But since its still in progress...hopefully they are testing a really small part of the game. I love the stealth of Splinter Cell. Actually, its good to see them using the tech from Creed (or visa versa), because it's awesome.

To answer thge question of where's the stealth.

From what I can see, the stealth element appears to be mainly, "Not getting your wanted ass taken down by cops". And since there is clearly missions that take place during the night, and I'm sure you'll be able to do your fair share of sneaking around and breaking necks. This video is just an early take on the game anyways, so there's no guarantee that there "isn't" any stealth in it.

Can't wait for it.

I gotta say it, Sam looks more like Jack Bauer now. I always compared the Splinter Cell games to 24, and now it looks like the line between them is blurred. I don't really mind, Splinter Cell has never disappointed me yet! And I don't think that'll happen as long as the game stays close to the others (and I'm sure it will). Looking forward to it Ubisoft, can't wait to play!
