Are those in-game or in-engine graphics? Because it looks amazing.

I believe we have now switched to in-game screens, whereas what we saw previously were merely real engine renders

The proof is the fact that those screenshots under "the basics" actually show damage counters and labels

Wierd fact: on the official website they list this game's genre as "action"

I know its a non-traditional fighter, but a fighter it is nonetheless

Yea its marios's model for the game.

But im not really disappointed I mean they need to fill all those days until release with somethin.

Take a look at Mario and notice how he is super detailed with the overalls and what not. What I always wonder is why does he look so good in this game and not the others? In my personal opinion, Mario looks much better here than he will in Galaxy.

The question plagued me since Melee because he's extremely detailed in that game but if you look at his character in games such as Mario Kart it's really watered down. And with graphics such as Resident Evil 4 and Twilight Princess on the cube, there's no real excuse why his sprite shouldn't stay detailed. It just makes you wondering what the reasoning is behind Nintendo... hopefully they aren't getting lazy.

I should know this but is this the first game that Mario has five fingers?

Why are you sad at this? new in game pics are always welcomed, even if they go through all the old characters, this site is being updated Daily so far, and i can't complain with that, at some point the info we know will be onesided by the info we don't
