Mega64 lassos Call of Juarez

Typically, the Mega64 guys lampoon games that are already on the market, but their latest two videos take on the currently unreleased Call of Juarez for Xbox 360. So, we guess these offerings serve as official confirmation that the Western game will require you to lasso strangers and involve them in pseudo-erotic situations while you recreate viral video phenomenons. Man, the transition from PC was rough.

Of course, maybe they just had the outfits and decided to run with it. We'll let you decide for yourself. Exhibit B is right after the break.

Also, since these are funded by ubi, theyve done this before, ubi hired them to make some pre release splinter cell promos for chaos theory also

Yea, Mega64 is definitely in Ubisoft's pocket. I mean Call of Juarez isn't even a popular enough game to be mentioned if they weren't paid to.

Guys, they're Ubisoft advertisements. We know. Peep the "Business" category at the top. Also note the official logos and MSRP rating before the video. Sorry we didn't mention that in the post, we thought it was pretty clear.

Secondly, to ShineDog: The video is promoting the 360 version. Note in the post where we talk about the transition from PC to 360. It's been out on the PC for a while here too.

If you listen to the Mega64 podcast they talk in detail how Ubisoft asked them to make the videos and that they did it in jest of the original urban cowboy vid.

No it hasn't. Gamespot lists the PC release date as June 5th... the same as the xbox.
