Halo 3 medal hints at new aircraft
The linguistic analysts at sister site Xbox 360 Fanboy want to know your feelings over the word "aircraft." Take the above medal, earned on Valhalla during a match of Halo 3 (beta, of course).
Instead of earning the Skyjacker! medal for boarding a Banshee, currently the only airborne vehicle we have used in the Halo series (space carriers notwithstanding), the folks at Bungie have decided to give you a gold star for boarding an "aircraft," implying that multiple aircrafts will be available. Why else would they give a nondescriptive explanation for the award? O, diction be damned!
The other possibility is that the description is temporary, just like the now-renamed Cheneymania. Bungie adding another aircraft wouldn't be surprising, but so far nothing has been confirmed or sighted.

Please not on the medal that there are 3 icons 1 large and two small, these represent A pelican (the big one) and two other smaller aircrafts.

Or they might be exclamation points

This Halo betacast marathon omnipresence is... informative.
If it's half as good as the Warhawk beta then I suppose it deserves a few headlines.

mayb u can finally fly the dropships without mods, and those drawings for halo wars did show us two new aircaft, the shortsword and the one other flying thingy that looks like it could be the equivalent of a banshee

Sounds plausible.
On a sidenote, the plural form of aircraft is aircraft, not aircrafts.
Zatch @ May 26th 2007 5:26AM
Methinks it's a human equivalent to the Banshee!
incrediblebulk92 @ May 26th 2007 9:02AM
@7 its not meant to be plural you can only jack one craft at a time

I remember in the Halo Wars trailer a smaller, more agile human aircraft. Confirmed.
