Is it just me, or does Gears of War not look good anymore? A few months ago I thought it looked fantastic, but now, it's just... not that good looking.

The game will always be plagued by host advantage..

Host with shotgun=No point in playing

I love this game and I know its not that old...

but something inside me wants to cry old news whenever I hear or see of it now...

Gears still looks amazing to me, and host shotty isn't that hard to be if u just distance yourself from the host...and don't be alone if possible...to whine about it is just plain lazy :D

I really want to get my seriously achievement, I've come so far (6K kills) but every ranked match I play ends in frustration, I have to take a small break to gather my wits up again. Connections are unstable the game becomes unplayable. When I try to host and rape, no one ever joins my games even through I have an excellent connection, and nothing is being doing to improve the shoddy netcode.

I'm so disappointed in Epic and myself for continuing to brave Gears Multiplayer

Oh come on guys I'm never host ever in gears, but I'm still able to kill the host in a shotgun battle. You just have to pull the trigger before him. If you can't do that, well the outcome is bloody as you well know.

I agree with Arturo.

I will always be addicted to GEARS OF WAR. It's more strategy then Halo has/will ever been/be.

With the new map pack and the Annex update I have rediscovered this game. I now play the game online and have given the single player another shot on a harder difficulty. Gears has too many intense moments that made me stand up and say "wow." New achievements are a welcome addition to extend the life of an already solid package.

You obviously haven't played Halo 3 Beta... VIP is almost exactly like assassination. And I believe both assault and capture the flag have more strategy than warzone and execution. Gears of War is like a watered down online experience. It's still way fun, but Halo has a definite edge on it, if only with variety.

THE NEW ACHIEVEMENTS WORK ON UNRANKED

so dont bitch around in ranked lag games if u can play whit friends in unranked and get the new achievemens without problems.
