Should I believe this article?

Nobody bought a PS3 to play some arcade games. I bought it for new shiny games. I'm still really upset I didn't get the Warhawk Beta. All my freinds were playing it last afternoon. FUCK!

This is the sort of stuff that would be awesome in the HOME arcade. For free. At $5 a pop for a download... not so much.
How about some of the great side-scrolling titles like the TMNT game the 360 got, or the xmen arcade game (widescreen?), Simpsons... Aliens VS Predator? I loved that one...

Id like a next gen Rock n Roll Racing; custom tracks, online play, 1080p, etc, etc..

"Should I believe this article?"

You do realize that article is from 2005, right? Hell, he refers to the Wii as the revolution... if you are worried about FF13, it's still exclusive. This was in reference to the many titles that were then announced for a bunch of platforms. Like the psp...

This music doesn't sound so appropriate "Juggga jigga jigjug!" (while onscreen) *bump. bump. bump. reverse. putt off*

i'd love to know who makes choices like this for Sony and even Microsoft for that matter. It's like, "let's see...out of the 500 really classic, memory inducing, great blast from the past games, let's forego all of them and pick this game that nobody really cares for..." it boggles the mind.

I won't buy this and I won't complain about it.
It's optional.

I hear ya, I mean, I think it's awesome that they are getting the online store rolling so on that end I'm cool with it, I just wish they would make these "optional" choices a bit stronger, it's the only way they're gonna get the thing off the ground. No point having 10 games right out of the gate that are so so.

Well that makes me feel like an idiot.

Do you have to pay for arcade games in Xbox live?

The argument "I didn't buy a PS3 for this" is old and retarded. If you bought a PS3 and are unsatisfied, then why did you buy it in the first place? There are people that did buy PS3 for this. There are people that just want a media center and small games like this. There are people that want just shiny games. If there is no "shiny game" you want, then I ask again, why the hell do you have a PS3?

I played this game a lot, with my friend, we loved it. You had to control the car perfectly with the analog wheel, and you could race together against the computer, so it was always you and your bud against 'them.'

For whatever reason, I loved this game, the graphics, the sound effects, and the little bits of strategy. I'm looking forward to it.

Oh, I have a game like this for my MSX, ‘Greatest Driver 2D Special’ it’s called. It’s quite fun to play multi-player.
