Halo 3 beta code reveals new armor, achievements

If you want to be completely surprised by Halo 3, you should probably stop reading now, because diligent beta code diggers have been turning up all kinds of golden nuggets that may or may not be a part of the final game when it's released this September. Halo fan site 7th Columnist has made a couple of discoveries, and the first is a list of achievements that could give a picture of the single player levels. There are apparently rewards doled out for the completion of missions like "floodvoi," "citadel" and "halo." Check out the full list after the jump.

Then they've dug up some new armor types. There are several (interchangeable?) Spartan suits like the Cobra, Ninja, Intruder and Regulator. Elites will be sporting the Predator and Raptor. We're not sure what they look like, but early reports from our imaginations say "totally awesome." Again, all of this is just speculative ... but come on, it's a holiday! Just let yourself get excited.

To be honest I think they can get away with 9 missions if they are as huge as some of the original Halo ones but yeah I was a bit : /

they got an achievement called brokeback. thats if 2 spartans in multiplayer never kill eachother. cause they fell in love. awwwwww. lol

the brokeback achievement is for riding brokeback ,passenger, on a mongoose(which is what it used to be called like cheneymania) and getting a kill.thats my best guess.

ROFL, seriously... The code diggers that pulled this up need to get a life. Thanks for being such a Halo geeks and cracking the code! You guys are so awesome!

Hopefully that's just scrathing the surface...

If that's the achievement extent, that's pretty sad (although i advocate more insane achievements than some of the poor fare i've heard about)

Lets play this game I want anyone to give me a better shooter on a CONSOLE than halo and no you better not pull PD or Golden Eye out of your behind because those are not better at all.
