Does anyone know the to-date release numbers for 360, PS3, and Wii? I'm sure that 360 is way in the lead, but I'm curious how fast the PS3 is catching up (since many games are being ported) and whether the Wii is ahead of the PS3 anyway, as has seemed to happen weekly.

Wierd, i figured this week would be Forza 2 edition, Mario Party 8 edition, or Shadowrun edition

didn't think it would be Halo 2 vista edition

360 isn't all that far in the lead, depending on the scale you consider, also the fact that Vgcharts claims the low end of 360 (about 9.8 million) while Microsoft says about 11 million+, and i'm inclined to believe its somewhere in the middle of that

This thread shouldn't be about which console is selling the most right now. Hell, it's an article about a PC port of an older game. It shouldn't be that hard to find a thread for console sales pissing matches. It is all about games anyways, and I am getting two very promising ones in the next week or two for my 360.

Jake, my question was about the library size of each console, which makes perfect sense in the context of a discussion of the new releases for each console (which isn't an article on any particular game, by the way). Looking back at my post, I was a bit ambiguous on that point, but that was my purpose.

The PS3 has actually lost ground on the 360 by more than 1m since both have been on the market

Ports shouldn't be pt as the main game unless every other game released that week is crap, but Mario Party 8 and Forza 2 are probably not gonna be bad.

Why isn't Forza 2 the cover story here? Is it just me or does no one give a shit about a port of a two year old game to PC with almost no updates or extras? Let alone you have to have Vista to play it? How is that something to be excited about?

i agree.. F Halo2 and it's Vista only requirements, there is no reason at all that this game couldn't be on XP.. M$ is only trying to kill XP and make us upgrade when we don't have to. I'm never going to buy VISTA so bye bye PC gaming I guess.

I've been using Vista for over the last 2 months and it runs flawlessly. I upgraded to 2 gigs of ram and can leave it running a lot longer than XP and it's still stable as a rock. I'm even running the Aero desktop and it's pretty slick! I don't know what you guys are bitching about??
