Online co-op sounds great. Other than that--well, if you already have the games, it's probably not worth it, unless you're huge fan. If you don't, it's definitely worth checking out, in my humble opinion.

can't say I'll buy this, but wouldn't mind renting it or playing a demo for the laughs

Since I don't own either game for 360, I'll definately be picking this up. Two games in one? Yes, please!
I doubt this is aimed at people who own the games, but guys like me who passed up (or rented) the first time.

I never owned the original games but did play Lego Star Wars II at a friends house, it is awesome.
I will deffinatly be picking this up for my Wii.

1080p?
SID SPACE @ May 28th 2007 2:29AM
I like how the commercial advertises "new levels, new challenges, and new Jedi moves," yet shows content that was in the original releases.
Digital Fox @ May 28th 2007 3:05AM
Yes, because Lego blocks would look SO MUCH BETTER in 1080p.
DarkTetsuya @ May 28th 2007 5:12AM
Damnit that video reminds me of the x-play review where they spoiled the 'LUKE I AM YOUR FAAAATHER!' bit from the original trilogy. :P

I was waiting for them to announce this game, I knew they would sooner or later, Definitely a game worth picking up... lol and they said viva piniata was for kids
X_Arre @ May 28th 2007 6:49AM

Vader showing Luke a Polaroid photo as proof he is his father is great.

Never played one of them, but since I heard so many good things about the games I think about getting the Wii-version.
Is the humour just for the trailer or did they take all the stuff from in-game cutscenes?

I have both games for the GC, because I bought a Wii and got them for cheap. Since bought up everything that is good for the GC I haven't layed these yet (going by alphabet here) and well now it looks like I might sell them and get this instead for the Wii, but I'll wait and see what the reviews say. Controlling a light saber would be awesome with the Wiimote. Otherwise I might just get it for my 360.

I'll be buying Travelers Tales is adding enough extra content that I want to warrant the purchase also the Widescreen support and Pressive scan to the first game. I'll probably wait till it's $30.

ARGH! When will the word learn that you don't pluralize Lego with an S at the end. Its just "Lego" you can't say Lego's thats retarded. Like when hunters say "We're hunting elephant" there is no need for an "S"
Viridium @ May 28th 2007 9:15AM
Chris, when will you learn that an apostrophe shows possession or use of a contraction? You certainly could say "Lego's" in a non-retarded manner. "Lego's an important part of my daughter's playtime" (short for "Lego is").
I think you're freaking out about "Legos", and likely the misuse of the apostrophe as a plural (so why not say that you can't pluralize with an apostrophe?). At least your heart was in the right place.

@ 16:
Personally, I love it when people who rant about spelling errors and poor grammar make posts with glaring spelling and grammar errors. Classic.
Ryan @ May 28th 2007 12:43PM
I havent bought either game, so I'll be looking at picking this up. I just hope there is online co-op
John @ May 28th 2007 1:06PM
The 2nd one was one of my favorite gaming experiences, a perfect game. Can't wait to get this on ps3.
Pink Chiefette @ May 28th 2007 1:26PM
Well, to really nitpick, LEGO should be all in capital letters, as in "LEGO bricks are mighty fun to play with."
I just bought the Original Trilogy for 360 for $20 new, so I'll have to pass on the Complete Saga. I beat the first LEGO SW on a rental.
