TGS 2007 show theme announced

The Tokyo Game Show has announced their theme for the 2007 show, which will be "Being Connected, Spreading to the World" ... at least according to our handy translator.

The press release states that we have reached a day and age where personal computers, game machine, portable games, and cell phones are all connected by networks, and that has helped gaming cross the age and sex borders as well as zoom across around the world, letting you get pwned by a kid in France while you sit in your armchair in Los Angeles.

TGS '07 is coming up on September 20th through the 23rd, so start planning your trips to Tokyo now.

This reminds me of PlayStation Home... How it plans to be connected from Console to Portable Gaming device and to cellphones and possible computers.

All I care about is when Im getting some new information about the next Fumito Ueda game. If not from E3 then hopefully from the TGS. By TGS, it'll have been almost 2 years with no word of his next project!

Hmm, Ueda's becoming a more popular name ever since the release of SOTC. Ico was one of the main reasons I bought a PS2, so I don't doubt that the man can make me get a PS3 (once the price is cut in half, of course). Otherwise there isn't one other game that could warrant my purchase of the console!

Also I'm excited for Resident Evil 5 news. I doubt anything good will come out of E3, if you can even call it that anymore.
