Today's best crossover video: Fighters and shoot-'em-ups
Our latest trip down the internet's (You) Tubes leaves us basking in the mash-up glory of JudgeSpear. This videomaker's page showcases dozens of game crossovers, with characters from different titles fighting, and even non-gaming characters get inserted into the action. While a little long, we especially like one of the shoot-'em-up crossovers, where a spaceship is piloted through several fighting games and even a GameBoy version of Super Mario Bros.If you're still not convinced, let this sway you: Mike Tyson makes an appearance near the end. Watch the video after the break.

Super Mario Bros Deluxe was a gameboy version of Super Mario Bros. What you see in this video is in fact Super Mario Land.

Too much Marvel vs. Capcom. However, the Mike Tyson part was done really well. They even remembered his 1-hit KO.

@roflgoat
Isn't that SNK vs. Capcom, not Marvel?
And the only really enjoyable part of that video was Punch Out. The rest just dragged on like hell. SML part wouldve been better if not for all the skipping.

Dont watch this video unless you're a major nerd. It's incredibly boring and... well I dont know what to say. Someone with a crazy vocabulary can rip on it some more.

You would enjoy this video ALOT if you actually played Darius Twin, Gradius, and R-type. I'm not sure what game the first ship was from.

This was made by using MUGEN. He simply used characters and stages for it. It's simple to do.

Back when I was interested in MUGEN I had at least 1200 characters on my select screens...most worked :).
It was incredibly easy to set up considering the result, and great fun at partys.
Anyone who is into 2D fighters that has never heard of MUGEN, you have no idea what you've been missing!

SHMUPs and fighters have already been crossed. Ever heard of Immaterial and Missing Power? It's a fighting game based on the shooters made by Team Shanghai Alice. (Embodiment of Scarlet Devil, Perfect Cherry Blossom, and Imperishable night are the three big ones.)
