The Final Fantasy media extravaganza continues today with yet another morsel from the maw of Square-Enix. As if the recent videos for Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers weren't enough, a CG-filled trailer was released today teasing us with the 3D remake of Final Fantasy IV for the DS. The video is mostly pre-rendered shots shown over dramatic voiceovers and epic orchestral music, but the exciting bit comes at the end with a striking "coming 2007" message. The big question: is the date just for Japan or does the rest of the world get to play, too?

It looks pretty and all, but...good Lord, guys, it's been a year and a half since the LAST rerererelease. (Or was it a rererererelease?)

If this is how Square Enix is going to do things, I might as well not even bother to pop in FFVI Advance. Damn, guys put out some original content and quit milking FF to death.

Million gil question: Will we be able to swap out characters just like in the Advance version? Having Edward, Palom and Porom in the group against Zeromus was absolutely sharp for me.

@ Kamui
Thats just you! I have the fruba albumn. Granted, the piano sounds like like the style used in 'secret' but its no fruits basket.
You should proberbly check the music isn't composed by someone named Seji Muto though.
