Peter Jackson: no Blomkamp, no Halo movie

when halo 3 breaks sales records, they will be beggin peter to make this movie!!

Will there be another Chevy Cobalt next year? Yes. Will Coke try to sell yet another spinoff cola in a few months or so? Oh, yeah.

Where there's money, there's always a way. Halo is too big to be ignored by the movie industry, Jackson or no.

For Jebus sakes:
Tomb Raider, Bloodrayne, DOOM, Dead Or Alive, Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat and others have all been made into movies. None of those gaming franchises were anywhere NEAR as lucrative or as big as the Halo following (but that should go without bieng said.) So..yeah.
It's coming eventually.

But then again, so is the Metal Gear movie of which I'm excited for, too.

Many people who are 360 fans enjoy hearing about Halo 3; I am one of the people that can't get enough of it. A 360 website is bound to have gobs and gobs of halo 3 info as Halo 3 is probably the most anticipated game of 2007, and most definitely the most anticipated by many for the 360. Don't like reading about halo 3 every other article? Oh well, shit happens, just don't read the articles then, or go to the ps3fanboy site where there is guaranteed to be less info about halo 3!

Gibber, regardless or not of your feelings (Or mine) towards Halo...the Xbox IS Halo, will ALWAYS be Halo, and in turn, Halo is a part of Xbox.
It's as ingrained into the 'box as Mario is to Nintendo..there's no avoiding it, man!

i am a 360 fanboy, yes. I do expect lots of halo news. But i have personally hit my limit. I do not expect everyone to agree....

Yeah, lots of Halo news today. Don't worry though, we'll obsessively cover something else soon enough. My vote is BioShock.

Richard, I'd rather hear something about ANY new game we haven't yet heard about.. where's any news about Silent Hill? (Barring that it's coming to the 360..) What about the Transformers movie game? Any news about it? It's coming in a few weeks after all, not to mention the movie. What's up with Alan Wake? Anything going on with those titles?

I know X3F isn't responsible for the dearth of general information on the net..(duh), but it'd be really nice to hear about other games besides Bioshock, Halo and Gears for a change.

..I blame the summer and the absence of E3 to this point.

I hope Universal wakes up and decides to renew work on the film. I am glad PJ is sticking with Blomkamp. His short films are incredible.

Halo the film will happen, just give it some time.

toph trust me: sh 5 is coming to the 360. the developer The Collective sucks with programming for the Ps3 (who doesn't these days) so don't be surprised to see the 360 version earlier. oh, and i've been told it's coming along nicely. =D
