Ultimate Ghost 'n Goblins re-release to be more difficult
The latest issue of
Famitsu reports a new version of
Ultimate Ghost 'n Goblins for the
PSP is coming to Japan under the name
Goku Makaimura Kai. The revision aims to bring the game closer to its arcade roots by limiting the number of continues and forcing players to complete the game twice before seeing the ending. Magic will be a charged attack, similar to
previous Ghouls 'N Ghosts games, and the double-jump will be available from the start. Gaming masochists in North America will have to import the title when it's released on August 2, as Capcom hasn't revealed plans to bring the game elsewhere.
