Danish studio seeks publisher for unique Wii game
A small Danish studio has just released a trailer for a game it hopes to publish on the Wii. Visually, Pollen Sonata reminds us of Katamari Damacy, but the gameplay is strongly reminiscent of the indie PC game Cloud. You can't go wrong with that combination, and the game looks very intriguing with its calm atmosphere and free-form gameplay. Definite potential.
A prototype is available for the PC, but you must have Steam and Half-Life 2 installed to play. At least we know the game exists, unlike Nibris and the eternally mysterious Sadness. Let's hope a publisher shows some interest in this game and sees the light of day.

Is Nibris still in business or will we never see Sadness? Sadness is a game that I'm really looking forward to. I try visiting the website (http://www.nibris.net/) but it's not even up?

Those BASTARDS
Don't get me wrong. I'm not in favor of your Halos or your Gears or what have you. I liked Sounterstrike when I was still in College, but any more, I play Katamari, Meteos, Animal Crossing, Super Paper Mario, Final Fantasy and Elelbits. Probably sounds like I hate Xbox, but it's more like I don't own one because I don't pay over $250.00 to for a videogame system. Prior to Wii, I wouldn't pay more than $200.00, but it came with a game and I enjoyed the demos, so I went for it.
Anyways, I would also like to see this game come to the Wii, but I'm not gonna hold some accounting of companies for wanting to turn a profit. PEOPLE work at those companies, even at the bottom of the pyramid, and they need that company to pay them and feed their families.

Then again, this is rather good fuel for some "WII IS KIDDY WAH NEDS SHOOTAN AND M RATEN" jackassery (if that is a word).

I see what your saying, but its all about the money. They always make the same excuse. It cost too much money to create an original IP.
Today everything looks and sounds the same. IMO, no one is trying to do anything different. Everything is about cashing in to make a quick dollar. I know people gotta eat and take care of their families. but i'm tired of seeing the same shit get released over and over again.
That's why i hung up my controller a long time ago. I may rent something every now then, but i'm pretty much done with games.
