Not to be a downer but at this point, you have to wonder what, exactly, the certification process does. I DL'ed the demo and was going to buy the full this weekend.

Guess I'll spend money on the Ridge Racer 7 extended soundtrack instead...

"The game continues to be sold for 800 MS points ($10) on the marketplace without any warning to consumers."

Welcome to PC gaming.

I'm one of the folks suffering from this. The game is a cute little arcade racer that my nephews can play when they come over and nice "one quick race" distraction.

However, I am *really* angry that they've known about this issue since just after the release and I bought my copy almost three days later and now have a $10 trial version.

They've pulled previous XBLA releases for much less.

Brilliant...now its not just the console and full-version 360 games that are buggy, even XBLA launches suffer from the "MS" syndrome.

As most DLC on Live goes, if you pay for the item, then delete it, you can go back and download it again for no extra charge.

Deleting the full (and presumably trial) version as well as any game progress data and redownloading the game should fix the issue.

This has worked to fix annoying Memcard->HDD migration issues for me in the past.

All,
Please note that the bug was fixed on a soon to be released version update.
Also note that only a minority of Xbox users suffered from this anoying bug. That explains why we did not 'warn' or 'pulled' the game from the marketplace.
Finaly, for all having this issue, please note that either an official from Load inc. or myself will be posting news and updates on xbox.com forums.
We'd like to express our utmost appologies to everyone.
Have a great day,
Denis.

Nice of you to post here and I'm sure the update will solve it. Let's just hope the rest of the posters don't blow this out of proportion like we tend to do.
Mistakes happen.. its all good.

Now about that $10 price... heh.

Glad I passed on this one. I didn't think the demo was really all that great.

It seemed really slow for a racing game.

Patch was worked on since the release of the game and today (saturday) and is going thru Microsoft certifications so this will be released very soon.
As Denis said, this only happen to a few people and we are sorry if you are one of them.

Microsoft certification process = "Okay, so how much DLC can you make, and how much of a cut can we make? Oh.. also.. we'll be releasing your game 7,000 months from now! Enjoy!"

wait wait, are you saying Microsoft is aware of one of their products has some serious flaws in it but CONTINUES to sell regardless without fixing it?

Gosh, that has NEVER happened before... except for every Window programs, and then xbox 360 red-ring of death... and xbox 360's disc scratching.

why is this news again? :)
