My PS2 broke a couple of months back. When's the Wii version of Tomb Raider due out?

I just started trying out Tomb Raider: Legend on GameTap (nice service btw!) and I gotta say, it doesn't feel right so far.

The camera seems too close in or something, it feels much more claustrophobic than i remember from TR 1& 2.

Makes it hard to see the environment around you, and the things above and below you. Also makes it kinda disorienting at times.

Plus the graphics don't look much better than i remember (though a lot less SQUARE) and lara looks really "plasticy".
Maybe i need to try enabling "next gen content" whatever that is, and see if that improves things.

But so far, although i knowit got great reviews, Legend isn't as good as i remember 1&2 to be.

Still, maybe i'll get used to it if i keep playing.

The DS Web browser is simply too late to market. I was interested in it back when Japan got it, but not now.

I'll probably grab Zelda II, but other than that I'm good right now.

I also started TR Legend on Gametap and I would say it's pretty good. The control scheme is by far superior to any previous TR game, and the graphics are good, though not outstanding (some weak textures, or poorly done backgrounds, which stick out since you get binoculars from the start)

I do find the whole lock on mechanism sucks, and would even rather have random or "closest" targeting.

Croft Manor is very cool, with even a lot to unlock there.

I believe the Wii version of Anniversary is coming out much later, and is being built separately from the other versions.

Also, there is a PC demo of anniversary on the official website. It is pretty tough in my opinion, but apparently it is from about 25% through the game. Legend on the other hand is a joke in terms of puzzle difficulty comparitively, so that's a good sign.

Also, enemies are not at all scary in Legend, whereas seeing that bear charge at you in TR:A is still gut busting.

Seriously: Who likes Tomb Raider games? They have been sh*tty since the original! I don't want to shoot stupid bears in a stupid cave ever again!

Oh Noes! That is one scary panther! Or jaguar! Or puma! Or what the f*ck ever! All I know is I don't really feel like shooting it with my stupid pistols!

What a weak week. (Sorry, just got a new W key. Wanted to try it out.)

I don't think there's anything serious on my radar until Resident Evil 4 on the Wii in a couple weeks.

Planet Puzzle League for me. :D

I may pick up the DS Browser, if the Nintendo.com page is correct in that the US browser DID add Flash support.

If not, screw it.
