Hmm... I don't know, I on the other hand do not like that it is split into two parts, or rather that you guys might be talking about something PS3 and it leads to something PSP and then you say, well lets leave that for the other segment. I rather you guys talk about whatever and if it happens to lead to other things then just flow with it.

but I don't mind it being segmented, it is still a great show. I'll listen to this one tonight.

The volume and sound quality is WAY better. It's also awesome to have more folks from the PS fanboy family involved; however its kind of wierd to have the podcast split in two and sort of duct taped together.

I understand that some don't want PS3 in their PSP stuff or vice versa, but they are related so closely in Sony's strategy thats its hard to avoid.

Overall, great podcast. Its nice to see that you are actually taking the feedback seriously. Although I think its ok that the fancast is separated in two halves, I dont think that the second half has to be introduced as if its a seperate podcast. Its not as if we can download them separately.

Oops, totally sorry. I see now that they are indeed separate podcasts, and there is an option to hear one or the other or both. Well, in that case my criticism was unfounded.

Anyways, good job guys. The improved volume helped tons.

Alright, an outline, mics and the 64kbps-spoken-word sweet spot! I have no negative criticisms of this podcast, keep 'em coming just like this!

Only, now that you've also brought in Steven Bailey and Nick Doerr, I want to hear ALL of you guys next time again. I can't believe that 5-person format actually worked...

I don't have a PS3 but I still like to listen to the whole show just to see what's up in the PS3 world. But you guys said that you don't have much to talk about with the PSP, when on your site you have a bunch of things to talk about. Talk about Final Fantasy, God of War, just a bunch of things. And I still would like to see you guys upload some videos of Trailers or Gameplay. Love your show though!

I started listening from this episode, Fancast 002. It's good to hear that the audio quality has improved.

This is my feedback to you.. I know you guys are new to this and are still fumbling through getting the technicalities down and just getting comfortable with the show... one thing I think you guys can really improve on is everyone's enthusiasm. To me, everyone sounds kinda bored, and the mood is transferred over to me.

Another thing I feel makes a good podcast is strong opinions. Opinionated people seem to be more passionate about what they believe in and it helps the show engage in some decent debate.

With those two points, there are a couple of shows that (at least to me) are good examples of what I'm talking about: This Week in Tech podcast (http://www.twit.tv/TWiT) and 1up Yours (http://www.1up.com/do/feature?cId=3149993)

I hope this helps, I'm looking forward to seeing you guys improve.

I started listening to your podcast since your latest one, Fancast 002.

So far I've only listened to about 20 minutes of it, and although I know you guys are just starting out, and are feeling your way through the technicalities and just trying to get comfortable with the podcast, I have a couple of points for you guys to improve the podcast.

1) Enthusiasm. When I listen to the podcast, a lot of times you guys sound pretty bored. And it affects me as a listener, I don't feel as excited for the Playstation if you guys don't sound excited. If you're angry, sound angry, disappointed, sound really disappointed.

2) Strong opinions. This in a way is an extension of the first point that I made (strong opinions usually are backed up with strong enthusiasm for their opinions). Not only will you guys sound like you have your own opinions, I think it helps engage people in healthy debate between people on the show and with the people who listen to your podcast. Everyone wants to have their opinion heard, whether they disagree with you or not.

Here are a couple of podcasts that I listen to that I enjoy listening to that illustrate my points:

1UP Yours Podcast (http://www.1up.com/do/feature?cId=3149993)

and

this Week in Tech (http://www.twit.tv/TWiT)

I hope this helps you guys... I'm really looking forward to seeing this podcast improve!! I have the PSP and I'm planning to get the PS3 (when rumble comes back, 65nm chip is being used, and hopefully a price drop by that time).
