I would want the little waist-high grunt guys. I would be happy with four of those, if I were into this sort of thing.

I didn't know Halo had enough characters to fill out a Clix set. Then again, one of the marvel sets featured such characters as Mall Security Guard (with gun?!?) and Street Walker. This is a fun little game, though. Especially when you friend is soooo happy to have finally gotten a Captain America figure just to have Hulk smash him with a dumpster from down the street. The things I've done to Cap....

Can't help but wonder, though, if the Clix figures will be universal again. Could we see who's better, Cable or Master Chief? And seriously, how many would die trying to take down Dark Phoenix or Doomsday?

There are over 100 characters, EASILY, within the Halo Universe!

I mean, there are like 4 different types of human infantry, all able to wield all sorts of weapons.

"I mean, there are like 4 different types of human infantry, all able to wield all sorts of weapons."

Usually relagated to color swaps. Most Clix characters come in 3 different strengths. Infantry fits that idea perfectly. But there's only so many Flood you can make or Grunts. And over 100 characters easy?

@4
they could easily break 100, maybe including some of the other "MIA" Spartans or maybe some of the spartan III's not to mention other high ranking officals in the halo universe, not to mention all of the color coded covenant characters (god i love alliteration)

I'd say you can get 40-50 Halo characters out of the games.

Not too shabby for an FPS. I just played Black and theres like...3. What a shit game.

sheppy:

There's at least half that amount spanning the book series, not to mention the ones that haven't been announced yet.

And the new series of Spartans could fill a bit of that gap nicely.

I believe they will be integrating vehicles into the game as well, so there are quite a few pieces right there, easily.

I think all of the piece counts include the color coded strength and rarity. Some characters can have 3-4 different varieties from a single figurine, not to mention the special characters and alternate outfits and whatever else they could come up with.

I gave MechWarrior Dark Age a chance, but in six packs (4 gotten at half price) I only got ONE useful mech'.

"Aww man, 2 infection forms, a grunt, and another mongoose for $8!?"

I am incredibly excited for this. I am a huge nerd when it comes to Halo, video games and miniature board games... so this will work wonderfully.

Fun fact, there's over 1000 different characters and vehicles in the Halo Universe.

The new marvel set;'avengers' is due this month and will change the previous practice of putting 3 versions [rookie, experienced, veteran.]of each sculped figure in each set.It will instead feature more characters in only one version.Applied to haloclix, you could see a Masterchief from halo1 with a single pistol with high accuracy,a version from halo2 with a sword and no range at all and one from halo3 with a bubble shield, giving him better defence capabilty.I actually spend almost as much time playing heroclix as video games now and would recommend any comicbook gamers find a local hobbeystore and give it a go!
