... I thought the nurse was a guy for a while...

I guess the journalists really wouldn't want their girlfriends finding out then.

"shocking and outrage"???

Joystiq editors, I don't know who you are or how you are all related to Mr Thompson, but to an average person, the title should be more like "Envy and fantastic..."

Please, do be jealous just because you weren't invited or ever had hot girls dressed up as slutty nurse doing shots with you. :)

Glad you don't send your people to junkets, Joystiq. Junkets are for bottom-feeding shills.

Uh, the perverted and failures at dating-average people, maybe.

Hmm, and to think I came to Joystiq to avoid these kind of posts from gaming sites (Kotaku). I'm not trying to say what you guys can post but I guess I was used to a bit more "cleanness" here.

Most telling quote from the article: "Most attendees were strangely indifferent to the can-can dancers, but really cheered up when somebody set up Guitar Hero 2 on the stage."

As someone who checks joystiq before work (but after I am in the office) and at lunch it would be greatly appreciated to put a NSFW on this type of picture.

Dudes, it's like... at most... Side Boob action in the pic. It's nothing overly offensive compared to the rest of the internet. Stop being pussies.

I am not being a pussy I personally could care less. It is the 50+ year old women I work with who would complain if they saw that on my screen while walking around the office.

Yeah i agree this probably does warrant a NSFW tag. My boss probably wouldn't have appreciated it if he saw that...(well maybe he would have appreciated it but...)

This is why no one takes Gaming as an art seriously. Hollywood is pretty crazy and known for their crazy parties, but I don't think their press junkets are anything as perverted as this.

McWeen: you're right, we sometimes forget to be considerate of our office-working brethren. I've amended the post to be slightly less offensive ... although I'm not sure if stapling someone's face is much better!

Dirk Dorkelson: Joystiq has a strict policy about accepting junkets. Not every junket is as outlandish as these though -- travel and accommodations at many press events are often paid for by the companies themselves. If we're covering an event, you can be sure we paid our own way to get there.

Brilliant! Your comment pretty much sums up 'Merica's stance on such issues, for better or for worse... okay, for worse...

Of course the Sony God of War press party wasn't on the list. GamesRadar has a direct relationship with PSM.

They would never do anything to defame Sony.

To go along with #23 and #25 it's pretty ridiculous how in this country violence is more inappropriate than sex. I've gone in this rant before, so I'll try to keep it short, so all I'm going to say is how is a photograph of a human body more disturbing than a picture of torture?

I love how bloody violence is OK, but any kind of sexuality gets pushed into the bump. Well placed Joystiq, well played.

For those wondering.

The guys in the photo are Mad Man Pondo (who is getting the $5 bill stapled to his face), and I believe 2 Tuff Tony on the right.

It doesn't matter who they are in that picture. They're semi-retarded meatboys.
