Ready for God of War: Chains of Olympus (formerly God of Wa: Chains of Olymp)? That's just too bad. Eager fans of the pale Spartan have to wait a few more months for the PSP demo -- September. In the meantime, salivate over videos and screenshots, and if you were one of the lucky folks who nabbed the free UMD you'll get "exclusive information" in the coming weeks. And there's always the bright side of things: at least it's September of this year.

Somehow this will turn into a fanboy flame war.
It's PSP not PS3...360 fans can take a break.

you have to be silly to not want both psp and dslite. really those two are a match made in heaven. much like wii vs 360/ps3, the best option is to own both, just like the best option for home consoles is to own both a wii and a 360 or ps3. They offer such different games and gameplay styles. really, how could any "gamer" not want the best of both worlds?

JodyAnthony, I have both, however since I got the PSP I stopped using the DS - in fact I don't see myself ever using the DS again. I must have outgrown the "world of nintendo" because it no longer fits.
Give it time, the same thing will happen to you.

I outgrew Nintendo 15 years ago and haven't looked back since. Oh, and I still play video games.

what exactly constitutes "growing out of nintendo"? sounds like a thinly veiled tired repeat of the old "nintendo is kiddie!!!!!" argument

It means for me that I got tired of the same old song and dance from Nintendo. Mario 25, Zelda 14, Metroid 211, Mario Party 44, Super Smash Bro 77 etc etc etc. Here, play a crapload of dumb, pointless minigames on a handheld or the overpriced repackaged Gamecube with a wand controller...it's fun. Look, everyone else is drinking this sales pitch like mothers milk.
Ummm, ok....no. Thanks but not thanks. You enjoy your ravin rabbids, brain age, friend codes and cookin mama.

ok. enjoy your narrow view on video games and trying to argue that one plastic toy is "better" than another plastic toy and that owners of plastic toy A are somehow smarter/better/etc than owners of plastic toy B.

You know what I've grown tired of Victus? Final Fantsay 298, God of War 56, and Metal Gear Solid 439. And I totally agree Jody, the day I grow tired of Nintendo is the day that I never pick up a controller again.

I guess b/c I don't share your views on Nintendo it makes my viewpoint "narrow." I never said one plastic toy is better than another, I answered a question of what constitutes (for me) growing out of Nintendo. I prefer the other consoles, I'm pretty sure I have a right to do so. Just b/c I'm not a Nintendo Zombie doesn't mean I enjoy games any less/more than the next person. I'm still waiting on someone to sell Nintendo to me b/c I frankly don't see the big deal. Sorry I have an opinion that doesn't jive with yours, Miyamoto forbid.

also this was my favorite part:
"Super Smash Bro 77"
seeing as they are only on the third one. Oddly the same number God of War is on. Fourth if you count the cellphone game.
Keep this in mind:
The first god of war came out in 2005. By 2007 there will be 4 God of War games. Within 2 years, there are 4 God of War games. One God of War game for every 6 months.
Super Smash Bros came out 1999. By 2007, there will be 3 Smash Bros games. Within 8 years, there are 3 Smash Bros games. One smash bros game for every 2.6 years.

You obviously don't get "tongue in cheek" humor. Why are you Nintendont's in a PSP thread anyway? SHould you be connecting the dots on Warioware 200. ;)

oh, for the record that doesnt bother me. I love sequels to games I love. I eagerly await Star Ocean 4 and Suikoden 6 and Final Fantasy 13, just as much as I await Super Mario Galaxy or the next Zelda game. Actually I probably await Star Ocean 4 and Suikoden 6 more than any other game (unless they announce an Okami 2!)

because I equally enjoy all of the consoles and handhelds, I dont force myself to only enjoy certain brands and hate on others.

JodyAnthony, any hate towards nintendo you feel is in the air is based on real world experience - we've been there done that.
