Square squashes FFXIII 360 rumors

Why should it affect the 360fanboy, Ps3 isnt gonna get exclusive titeles for at least 6 months, that kinda painfull if you bought something thats 600 dollars, Too Human and Mass Effect will chill this blow with ease

They better as hell hope they didn't glaze over the fact that there's an FFXI expansion coming out in winter.

I hate final fantasy there boring and repetive and like never change from game to game theres just too many when im 40 the'll be up to final fatasy 81 i really wish they would end the series imo.

I won't cry sour grapes here; I'm sure this will hurt many, many Xbox 360 owners, but personally I don't care.

Hell..Playstation needs at least ONE game...give them Final Fantasy! :) Oh..and let them play in 'Home' afterwards. That's enough for one console, isn't it? :):)

You know what completely ticked me off recently? The PS3 Fanboy Podcast talked about RPG's, and totally dissed the 360. How many good PS3 RPG's are coming out in the next 6 months... um... zero? How many for the 360? Five or more. According to PS3 Fanboy Podcast, RPG's were actually the reason for going to the PS3 instead of the 360. That deserves a big old "WTF?" only after they say there are no good RPG's coming to the 360 in the 2007. I'm really glad the Xbox 360 Fanboys aren't actually fanboys. :)

I think it'll actually be interesting to see how Last Remnant does on 360 compared to PS3, particularly in the west. If it does a good deal better, I am willing to bet they'll reconsider this position... at least for non-Japanese audiences. I mean, the White Engine it uses is multiplatform anyway, so it's not like it'd kill them.

Personally, I'm not overly interested.

Oh my goodness, like who the hell cares about any FF series. This is a good thing. Ridiculous content such as this is not worthy to be played on the 360. Let it stay on that other console called the PS3 where it belongs: old, outdated, and useless.

I hate FF game, but if it was put on the 360 I'd buy one just to spite sony.

Really though, if you were a huge FF fan you would have bought a PS3 anyways. It's pretty clear that a US made console with mostly US fans are not CRAZY about the Japanese games. I know that there are fans here but not like it Japan and vice versa. I wasn't going to buy this game anyways as much of you seem to agree with so like I said...

Well, look at it more like this...
How many good RPG's were on the XBOX? Like... two.. three?

How many good RPG's were there on the PS2? Like 15?

Look at this way, in the bad times of the PS2, the Dreamcast had better RPGs, but people still expected more out of the PS2, and it eventually delivered.

You can't blame them for the mindset that the PS3 is going to deliver also. Who knows if it actually will!

'Ey, 12 wasn't bad. First good FF since VI. It's sad to lose it on Xbox, but they haven't taken back their "It won't be PS3 exclusive." statement.

So what's left? PC. For those of you who remember, FFVII and FFVIII did come out for PC. Perhaps Square has decided to return to the PC market? Considering a large portion of their FFXI playerbase is PC, I wouldn't doubt it in the least.

Xbox 360 is the console leader for Role Playing Games.

Xbox 360 has the highest rated version of Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion with all the expansions that aren't found on the Playstation 3 version.

Two Worlds is a game very similar to Elder Scrolls 4, but even better, and it is being released only for PC and Xbox 360 in just a short time.

I personally enjoy Phantasy Star Universe quite a bit on the Xbox 360, and that game isn't found on the Playstation 3.

Take a look at the way Square Enix carefully uses the word "currently" when they talk about Final Fantasy 13 not being in development for Xbox 360. That's the same thing Capcom did with Devil May Cry 4 when they would say DMC4 was only in development for PS3. Now we know Devil May Cry 4 will be released at the same time as the PS3 version for Xbox 360 and PC.

Blue Dragon is a game made by the original creator of Final Fantasy, Mr. Hori Sakaguchi.

Blue Dragon is going to be releases shortly in North America and Europe. Blue Dragon helped the Xbox 360 sell 125,000 systems in Japan in less than two weeks. Blue Dragon is an awesome RPG!

Lost Odyssey is another game made by the original designer of Final Fantasy, and his new company called Mystwalker is going to release that game in just a few months, only for the Xbox 360. That is going to be an amazing RPG game!

Fable 2 is another Xbox 360 Role Playing Game that is going to be absolutely amazing.

Mass Effect was voted the Best Role Playing Game of the 2006 Electronic Entertainment Expo. Mass Effect will be released this fall only for the Xbox 360!

Xbox 360 is currently the best next-gen console for RPG games. Final Fantasy 13 won't be released in Japan until sometime in 2008, and probably not in North America and Europe until sometime in 2009. That's a long time for Square Enix to announce the game for Xbox 360. We already have Final Fantasy 11 on Xbox 360, and we will see Final Fantasy 13 on Xbox 360.

Noshino, I think he was referring to the series as old, outdated, and useless. It definitely looked like he was refferring to the PS3 in the grammatical structure of the sentence, but when he said, "old," you know he was talking about the Final Fantasy series.

wrong very wrong ff13 has 42 gigs of space. It is imposible even if the data is crompresed the game canot and will not come for xbox 360 however i heard that bungie is planing to make halo 1,2 and 3 for the playstation 3 and exclusive content on the PS3 only. IF u dont6 belive me visit for ur self bungie studios.
Pleople i only talk the truth gears of war will not come on the PS3 WHY? it has to do with the DIRECTX or some thing. or and another thing microsoft is planing to release a slimer version of the XBOX360 elite however with 30 gig if hard drive i think is coming out on mid 2008
