Ubisoft: Prince of Persia on XBLA next week
10
Speaking to Eurogamer, a representative from Ubisoft has confirmed that Prince of Persia will be arriving on Xbox Live Arcade next Wednesday, June 13. Developed by Gameloft, the game is a remake of the original Prince of Persia featuring completely revamped graphics. In addition to the graphical upgrade, the game will feature new traps, enemies, and puzzles that expand on the traditional gameplay. The original Prince of Persia tasked players with clearing the game in one hour. We have to wonder if the new Xbox Live Arcade port will have the same restriction. At any rate, what we've seen so far looks promising. Assuming Prince of Persia comes out at a decent price, are you planning on picking it up?

Oh yes. Assuming that they didn't muck with the classic gameplay of the original, THIS is how retro titles should be treated on XBLA. Spruce it up. Make it worth the money.

Only if the price is right. I'm not paying 800 points for a game I'll be done with in an hour!

Loved the game on PC, but never played it enough to beat it. I'd pay 400 points for the vastly enhanced graphics and leaderboards and such, but 800 is too steep in my opinion.

UMMMM, Flashback was the shit! I almost forgot about that game. I also want a Timekillers remake in HD ... but still 2d with more characters and more blood, RANCID baby! Thats the only 2D fighter I ever liked except for Children of the Atom.
But yes, PoP is a must buy unless its too expensive. 800's too high, 400's too low, 600 would work, but i doubt they'll do it
