Today's most (un)shocking news: Japan wants Halo 3

If you actually picture Japan reaching out as a nation, grim determination upon the faces of all citizens yearning for Halo 3, then this is a bit funny. As far as actual news goes, this is a resounding "Well, duh." It seems like the Japanese have heard about some little "Halo" game from unknown sources, and they want a piece of the pie as well.

Siliconera points out that Halo 3 has eked a spot on Famitsu's Top 20 Most Wanted Games list, grabbing hold of the bottom slot and playing King of the Hill with it. Granted, its no Everybody's Golf, but at least the Master Chief is starting to get some face time in the land of the rising sun.
