I had a hard decision between MyExtraLife.com's Remembering, Old School, and Penny Arcade's Retreat to the Citadel. Ultimately I chose Penny Arcade's though because to me, teabagging never gets old.

They were all pretty damn good though...

you guys need to be careful when you put up someone else's art work w/out crediting them. If you peep the case law you'll see that your use of the image isn't sufficiently transformative to qualify for fair use. If they wanted to they could sue and win. Screenshots are a different matter, but this is VERY shaky ground.

Poor PSP... if only Sony knew what the hell they were doing.

I don't get the first Penny Arcade one. A comment on complex controls?

My vote is for VGC... the DS is a better portable system. PSP is a portable wannabe home console.

It's a simple equation, really. Take one half "how much Sony has failed", add a quarter of "informed gamers hate Sony" and mix in the last quarter of "sony is TEH SUK" and it equates to instant win.

Because the true is always fun... VGC is funny because is the true... honestly, if you are going on a trip, and you have to take just one system, you will prefer PSP over DS Lite??? I dont think so.

This is even worse than the last time VGCats won with their stupid pokemon paragraph for paragraph GUEST STRIP. Seriously this new comic is even worse, and somehow it's winning. Do they just post "Vote for VGCats!" in their anime furry fanboy forums or something? This is just plain ridiculous. Not even that funny. This has kinda a double threat too. Not only is it wetting the pallettes of Nintendo fanboys in an uninformed way, it's ALSO a VGCats comic.

To answer your question, most of the games I enjoy on my DS are either the more complex, non portable friendly titles or the kinds of games that you HAVE to set on a table to do well on (ala Ouendon). Meanwhile, on PSP, I have games like DJ Max Portable 2, Audition Portable, or even Capcom Classics that are much more portable friendly.

So in essence, no. No I wouldn't choose DS. Because I don't want to have to precariously reenforce my system while I'll trying to beat the hardest version of Ready Steady Go on Ouendon.

In my opinion, the "quickplay" games on DS are a tad too shallow while on PSP, the quickplay games have some depth. I'll admit, they don't have the appeal of drawing a rainbow road for Kirby to walk on, but I think I can make due.

I voted on VGCATS because I felt sorry for the PSP... It has homebrew... It broke my heart when it was at the window...

I think this week may be conclusive evidence that this poll needs a 'None of the Above' option.

Wow, lots of these comments are so one sided... I own both of the handheld consoles, and I despice my DS. It's so boring and barely any of the games are good or commendable for playing. My PSP on the otherhand, I could do so much more, unlike DS, it actually has good games, better graphical processing, i could listen to music from it, watch vids, go online and watch my pr0n... None of those things the DS can do, well you can get that crappy Opra browser for 30 bucks... That is what I would take on a trip, DS is way too overrated... Just like the Wii (even though I love my Wii... not as much as my 360, but more than my PS3) The VG cats comic should be the other way around. I couldn't read what it said on the last bag the dude was carrying though.

Why are there so many "gamer comics" out there with such bad art and/or terrible writing? Penny Arcade seems to be the only one that's ever gotten a good balance of the two. RPG-TV was the only other one that was actually funny this time around.

Lot of hate out there for VGCats, I personally loved this weeks strip, That little heartbroken PSP at the window in the final panel is just so well drawn that I just HAD to vote fr VGCats...

A "None of the Above" option wouldn't work.

Digital Unrest managed to somehow recreate a situation similar to how my boss fires people. Only his is a game of dice, rigged of course, and he says that the outcome of the meeting is going to be determined by who rolls higher. It's cruel, but so very good.

Voted Digital Unrest. I love VG Cats, love the DS, and hate the PSP, but I still don't think VG Cats had the funniest comic this week. I'm amazed it has such a strong lead.

I almost, ALMOST voted for PA just because they drew the Halo fan with a pink polo shirt with the collar popped up. The most distinctive visual trait of the douchebag.

However, VGCats got me with the teary eyed PSP.
