Overlord Achievements awakened
13
After being having one of the two good demos release on Marketplace last week, Xbox 360 Achievements got their hands on Overlord's Achievements. The first thing that caught our eye was that there are two Achievements for how much or little Corruption your character has, one for maxing it out, and the other for having none, so being a good-bad guy is going to be required for the completionists out there. Also worth noting are the ranked multiplayer Achievements, and "Mistress Master", where you essentially let her wear the pants of the relationship and do her bidding. Are you looking forward to torching some halflings later this month?

i played the demo with friends and 1st time through couldnt get past the wall part.. near that pillar thing that needs 10 minions to move.
then 2nd time through a minion got stuck where you sweep them across the bridge to break some stuff for weapons/gear. so because he was stuck i couldnt get past the lifting of the tower heart part :[

I downloaded and played the demo last night. I thought that i would like it and I definitely did. I will be buying for sure on June 26. Those minions are so awesome. When they tore through the pumpkin patch and came back with pumpkins on their head, I was sold.

I can't wait for this game, the demo was exactly what I hoped for.
Except for the wonky camera controls...

This demo was a ton of fun, and it looked great. I love evil-sims like Dungeon Keeper, so this should be a blast.

The demo was made me sad because it was too short, so yeah, I'll be buying. I do wish they'd swap the camera/minion sweep control, as many have said, but that's a minor annoyance.
The quick preview at the end of the demo has what looks like a giant fat ball of man rolling over your minions. That's comedy gold, that is.

definitely took a bit of getting used to with the camera, but after that I was really impressed. The graphics were pretty good, and the minions are hilarious. I will probably pick it up this month, if I can stop playing the darkness when it comes out.

I was looking forward to playing this game and I loved it. I agree with the minion/camera controls switch, but it wasn't as bad as I thought as I played more, just turned Mr. Overlord and pressed LT to center camera.
With so many games coming out a buy is not a sure thing, but maybe...
