Is this game like the Army commercials where you drop food from a plane? What's with the guns? I thought the Army just fed people. :P

So where does he say it's only going to 360? I just see him saying they have good experience with 360.

C'mon, this is America's Army. They're going to put it on every platform under the sun eventually if it means 5 more people signing up for suicide....I mean "serving" in Iraq.....I mean Iran...I mean Korea....

Fernando, get a life dude. What do you expect an Army game to be a cooking sim with waggle controls? I'm pretty sure you're the one that calls every non-Wii game complete uninventive crap. Of course it is going to be a shooter, dumbass. As for innovation, I'd expect it to be a lot like their last game there Sherlock. It will be sorta okay but kinda suck. One positive is that it will likely sell very cheap. The PC one was free, wasn't it?

Sorry to be so harsh on fernie, it is just that he is so incredibly lame with every post people have to remind him/her what a tool they are once in a while.

Im always curious to see what the sony trolls can come up with when yet another 360 exclusive is announced

"another war game on the 360? "another fps?"

you would think the trolls would take whatever game they could get their hands on for the ps3 seeing as there are 4 games available

Is this game really based on how the suits are running the army these days? No dragon Skin Armor (better tech), No up Armored Hummers (side quests to find your own scrap metal), No Strykers (better tech), Families scraping coin together to send what should be provided. Oh, and getting back home (if your lucky) after losing a leg to a moldy cockroach infested hospital room. I think not. These things are needed if they want to make this more “realistic”! Oh, and your toon (and any progress) should be wiped the minute it’s killed. That’s it, done! The game locks you out, can’t be played again, and recorded the console’s ID. Why? Because the reality of life and war is that you DON’T GET A SECOND CHANCE AFTER DEATH!

Question?

Is the game going to be free, because AA has always been free. I don't think there is any reason to pay for a game which the development costs have already been paid for out of taxes.

AA has always strived to be the most realistic combat game. I wouldn't say a console is the best for that.

You anti army people need to get a life.

Or move to san francisco, where they hate the armed forces just as much as you do.

Nobody forced anybody into the army, and nobody who signed up in the last 5 years can claim they didn't know they were going to war in Iraq. Its their choice if the want to "throw their lives away" or as I prefer to say, make the ultimate sacrifice for God and Country.

None of you have half the conviction or courage as the average army recruit. Now shut the hell up, and get back to talking about how crappy a game this is.

Please keep your war views to yourself, joining the army has risks just like every other job.

Anyways, will this game be free? Its always been free on the PC right.

Yeah crono you are. Just because most of us aren't stupid enough to sign up for the US Army which is involved in a dumb and idiotic war in Iraq doesn't mean we lack the courage or conviction. IF there was a real reason to fight and IF my country truly needed me to pick up a sword and a gun I wouldn't hesistate a second to do so.

But no we're fighting for oil under the guise of a "war on terror" that our dumbass president has flamed since Day One in the White House.

As for this game I don't think I'll be getting it. But I'm sure it will do fine. And Fernando you really need to get a life. You sony trolls just can't seem to get it. People love to shoot shit. So geuss what? Microsoft is providing it for them. I'd be more worried about the piece of shit 3 and its lack of decent games both now and in the future. Because besides FF theres no other game that I can see making everyone else go out and buy a 600 dollar machine that just happens to play videogames.

"But no we're fighting for oil under the guise of a "war on terror" that our dumbass president has flamed since Day One in the White House."

And how much of that oil have we seen?

Anybody who believes that we went into Iraq for Oil is the real idiot with no reasoning skills. I never said it wasn't smart to stay out of the army right now, I just said it takes real courage and conviction to sign up knowing, KNOWING, you were going to iraq and had a real possibility of dying there. You can be disillusioned all you like, but the fact is the US presence in iraq is the only thing keeping it stable.

The war has been botched, there are very few left who will argue that, but the goal of a peaceful democratic Iraq are still there. And the only reason we are staying there is because if we left, the nation would fall into even further chaos, civil war, and possibly genocide.

I don't like that we're stuck in Iraq either, but we really are stuck, with the only ethical way out being victory. To pull out our troops would condemn all our supporters, create a free training zone for international terrorists, and almost assuredly cause all out civil war.

If you were the president, would you leave, knowing that your actions, though saving the lives of hundreds of american soldiers in the short term, would cost the lives of hundreds of thousands more Iraqi's, with the probablity of genocide? If you say yes, then you're a bastard. Like I said before, I'm not to happy with how the president has conducted this war. I'm actually pretty pissed. But, like it or not, we have no alternative.

I feel a profound pity for those who succeed at America's Army. Those who manage to score very well in the game receive tons of recruitment information.

Now 360 owners are going to have to pay in order to receive recruitment propaganda.

And Crono, substitute "conviction and courage" with "profound ignorance and sociopathic tendancies" and I'm right with you there, buddy.

So you're saying it takes "profound ignorance and sociopathic tendancy's" to join the military?

I guess we're way past supporting our troops. Thats almost as bad as John Kerry saying that if you don't do well in school you'll end up stuck in Iraq.

That there's real patriotism.

Oh, one more thing Johnny boy. The president didn't start the war on terror. We were the ones attacked, 9 months after Bush entered office.

So no, he wasn't "flaming the war on terror from day one".

There's a poem that goes something like this: "And when he gets to Heaven, To Saint Peter he will tell: 'Another soldier reporting Sir, I’ve served my time in hell.'" I don't care what war you served in, but if you died for someone's freedom, or if you died for what you believed was right, you are truly the greatest of human beings.

My favorite posts ever are the ones where people claim that they're fighting for my freedom, as if Iraq has ever been a threat to the U.S. or had anything to do with Al-Qaeda. If we pulled out right now, or somehow magically "won" right now, my freedom would be unaffected either way.

P.S. LOL, another shooter on the HaloBox 360.
