This is great. I had saved my old xbox version hoping it would become back comp but I wont have to wait any longer. I just hope that the game physics are the same (ie when you run you get out of breath and your aim is unsteady)and that there isnt as many glitches like the first one.

ditto at #1: is this a free game? With the GRAW team on it, it's sure to rock...

Nice...another exclusive ;-)

It's cool to see that they (U.S. Army) are working on another game, I recall the first being free and wouldn't be surprised if this one would be too....all the money that our government spends on the Pentagon has to be going toward something...

If it's free I'll grab it...but if not I think I'll pass....I'm kinda burnt out on shooters right now and looking forward toward Overlord...

...plus, the 360 is the only "American" console, and what other games NEED to be patriotic?!

I hope it's still free. If it is, how are they going to distribute it? A free download on Marketplace would make the most sense. Or it could just be a clever ploy to get you into a recruiter's office to pick up the disc.

Americas Army on the PC is free. The xbox version was not. So I am sure they will charge for the 360 version.

America's Army is an amazing game series that is so realistic the United States Army uses to as a way of recruiting and training soldiers!

This is an INCREDIBLE game for the Xbox 360!

Yeah whoever up there is correct, the PC version was free but Xbox wasn't. This game will cost money. Which is dumb.

This is the game where you're always an american and everyone else is always a terrorist, yeah? Even if you switch teams and objectives.

America's Army: True Soldiers will be released in September of 2007, 100% exclusively for Xbox 360.

Xbox 360 is the only place anyone can play this great new game.

There will NOT be a PC version of the game released. So there is no need to worry about a "free" version of the game.

Just read what the developers of the game have to say in the interview with IGN for proof of this: http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/795/795776p1.html

Sorry guys, but don't get so excited. It looks like they just rebranded GRAW2, forced first person, and added maps.

Look at the engine, it's exactly the fucking same. In fact, look at the video on IGN and you'll see what I mean.

America's Army sure does fit with the XBOX audience, though. They like big loud cars, guns, and "Killin thangs"

They seem like the beer drinking type to say "I'm doin it fer amurca"

I'm pretty sure they don't use it to train soldiers. If anything, they just use it to market the Army.

If you want realism, Red Orchestra is more realistic than AA.

This game looks disgustingly like GRAW2, and while I am a fanboy of the franchise, I already have GRAW2. Slapping the ARMY brand on it while not make me buy GRAW2 again.

The PC version is free, see: americasarmy.com -- however, they do use the game to train soldiers, just a different (private) version off the same engine, using weapons instead of a keyboard. Just google.

And of course the Xbox version isn't free.

The Xbox version was free at the America Army stops (where they drive around the America's Army/Bus and hand them out. You just can't get it free everywhere. Normal retail outlets require payment.

Actually, they do use many parts of the America's Army technology for various things. For example, there are virtual language training applications that came out of the program where you can use the keyboard and mouse to walk up to people on the streets and speak to them in their native language. The game is free as a promotional tool and as a way of using the technology for training systems employed by the Army.
