Online play would make this an instant purchase for me.
Well, the fact that it's getting released on the 360 will make it an instant purchase for me. I feared this would go the route of number 3 and stay playstation exclusive. Great news.

@3 - hahahahahah. that screencap is unreal, they need to edit it or XBOX360F should have a BIG NSFW, embedded after the break business.

From the image, I thought it was Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 or something.

This is most likely a purchase game online or not. I would like to point out though that we all have ceen Namco whore out Soul Caliber in the past and then play sides again by only releasing SC3 on ps2. Now Namco, Give us Tekken, for the first time in console history make Tekken for a system other than a sony product. Alittle off topic but, can every1 email and bother both Sega and Microsoft to release The Fist Of The North Star Arcade on the 360 state side please.

This is the best possible gaming news I could have gotten this week, or month. If it's online, I'm gonna wreck those leaderboards, this is my game.

I cant speak for SC3, but I wasnt a huge fan of SC2. I loved SC for dreamcast but some how the second one didnt do it for me. I think they need to change things up a bit, add some more animation to the story telling, better menu animations, maybe create a character.

@11
There is a creat a character mode in SC3 man.
I never played 3 but do know that feture is in the game.
As for the series......
I had Sc on Dreamcast and loved it. When it came out on the three consoles I was unimpressed at first do 2 the lack of graffical upgrade but found the game to be as enjoyable as the first. Namco needs to stop riding Sony's lil dick and stop developing games based on PS hardware and we will start getting better looking games.

Namco can blow me. They abandoned us to do the PS2 exclusive deal, but they want to come crawling back to the Xbox platform now that the 360 has built critical mass with the better gaming library of this generation. Too late, I'm a DOA loyalist now. Suck it, you f'n front-runners.
