Survey hints at PS3-PSP connectivity possibilities
We knew the upcoming
Sly Cooper PlayStation 3 and PSP games were going to have
connectivity between each other, but we never knew how. A recent PlayStation Underground survey asked how someone would like a portable device interact with a console. PS3Forums member
sqrtlsqd7 took a
screen capture of the survey. Suggestions include:
- Side missions and unlockables using the portable device
- Transferring media wirelessly from console to portable (e.g., broadcast television, extra game content)
- Using your PSP while playing the PS3 as additional weapon or utility (2nd player, radar, etc.)
- Recording console gameplay video
All of these ideas sound great in the proper context, but the survey is by no means a confirmation that Sony will actually pursue any of these ideas, and ultimately it is up to the developers to see how connectivity will be used, if at all, into each game.
