Take-Two interactive announced a second quarter decrease in revenue to the amount of approx. $50 million, looks like the Magic 8-Ball was right. Not that it was much of a stretch to guess that money might be flowing a little slow this year for Take-Two and its subsidiaries. One of the things that the company attributed the drop in cash to was that this time last year they had significant sales from The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.Don't feel bad for Take-Two despite all their financial and executive drama over the last six months. In the games department they've got a pretty good lineup coming down the pipeline. In the next few months we'll see a new Civ IV expansion, BioShock, The Darkness, a bunch of their solid 2K Sports titles and, what's sure to be drama-licious, Grand Theft Auto IV. So, as long as you're not a stock holder or generally involved in the business, Take-Two is treating the gamers just fine.
