Dark Sector goes dark until 2008

Playstation Universe reports that Dark Sector, the space-espionage thriller turned Eastern-European alien invasion action game, has been delayed. Originally billed as the first next-gen (now current-gen) game, Dark Sector has been pushed back to 2008. Why? According to Tamara Sanderson, a representative of D3Publisher, the game has been delayed in order to avoid this year's packed holiday season. Considering the oncoming deluge of holiday titles -- Alone in the Dark 5, Assassin's Creed, and of course GTAIV and Halo 3 -- we can't exactly find fault with D3's logic.

Let's just hope Dark Sector makes it out before the next development shift hits and someone turns it into a goofy kart racer.

With the mass amount of game coming in 07 my wallet needed that.

#2 Is there just nothing to talk about? This is old ass news. I have known of Dark Sector's delay for over a month now simply by calling gamestop and getting the release D8.
Be good Fanboys and go bug Sega and Snk about Streets of Rage 2 and Fatal Fury Special.
Dark Sector dose look promising though. Hey and every1 needs to be asking Sega for Guardian heros in the Arcade and Fist Of The North Star Arcade on 360!

i remember seeing the first trailer to this game wayyyyy back when i was contemplating whether to get the newly-launched 360. it was soooooo different from what it is currently. but yeah there are a lot of games coming out this fall... almost... [i]too[/i] many...
