This really makes me sick. Publishers need realize it does not matter what month of the year they wish to release a game. If the game is awesome it would sell millions. The year doesn't consist of two months...November and December. Now is the perfect time to release games. We the consumer don't have much of shit to choose from. Besides, the majority of the people I know get paid the same throughout the year...give us a reason to spend that cash now.
Btw, I didn't buy the PS3 in November or December publishers...

Beat everyone to the punch if it's finished. If not release it when it is.
I've never seen a game that couldn't use another month worth of polish. Oblivion's framerate could be improved, Motorstorm's loading times, Resistance..well ok Resistance is an exception.

Yeah, I'm sure we gamers all have the same view on this concept. It's pretty ridiculous that publishers don't release games during the summer, since I think it'd be even better business than in December, since there's millions of bored kids with disposable incomes DYING for some games to play.

you obviously dont play many games then. lots of great games dont go on to sell millions... look at okami, viewtiful joe, shadow of the colossus, ico, heck even God of War only sold a million copies. thats a LOT but if you look at the list, star wars battlefront sold more then God of War.

I guarantee you this game gets canceled or is horrible. It just looks so stupid. Whoa, I get to throw around a "hardass boomerang". I guess I could go play Ty the Tasmanian Tiger, and forget about the genetically mutated emo kid.
