Nukem Forever has become legendary for its Vaporware act. I would actually buy it if it ever came out, even if it sucked, just to have it in my game collection. ;)

DNF will hit store shelves just as soon as "Chinese Democracy" does.

That would be interesting news if 3DRealms was in any way relevant to the videogame industry.

Game footage or it didn't happen.

Seriously, I am past the point where I got sick of this shit. Right now, this game does not fucking exist in my mind anymore. I gave up all hope on the Duke Nukem Franchise. It's dead.. and I am willing to bet that even if they do release the game. It would be so long in production that the gameplay mechanics would be outdated by today's gaming standards. Therefore the game might not be as good as it once was during the Duke Nukem 3D era.

Way to go 3D Realms. Way to go..... :(

I can predict a finished DNF, oh wait, that's an oxymoron. Nevermind!

I was under the impression that the smell of vaporware got stronger as time went by.

Kinda like a rotting corpse.

If Duke Nukem Forever was released, it would immediately lose it's cult classic status and fans would complain.

Kind of like if Chuck Norris managed to become a respectable actor.

Only the game industry announces announcements. Basically all he said was that we're making a game to be released at some point in time. I'm excited over the fact that I will be excited in four to six months. How exciting!

You know, I don't even care about this game anymore. I used to be so psyched about a new Duke Nukem FPS (3D will always be a favorite), but now I just couldn't care less.

In fact, I think the only way I'd even play this game now was if 3D Realms gave me some kind of incentive. Like 8000 Microsoft Points.

Obviously, they changed the name, so it isn't about "Duke Nukem Forever." Releasing said game under that title would tear a hole in the fabric of space-time.

If I get that right, I demand a cookie.
