How difficult will Super Mario Brothers theme be? I have seen Stepmania's SMB theme at the max level and worry how I can play it on this game. Also I hope it can support multi-touch or quick tapping well.

Gee, now THAT game wouldn't be annoying to anyone but the person playing it. I could see being stuck next to some 8 year old kid on a seven hour flight with him playing that game. Oh the joy.

Interesting... But it's the song list that will be the deciding factor if I will get the game or not... Maybe if I know a couple or more J-pop/Anime songs on there...

@#1:

The DS does not support multi-touch.

@#6

Actually, while that's true from a technical standpoint(since the hardware doesn't support it), it could be done with some fancy programming. If you touch the screen in two spots, it puts the point in the middle of those two spots. So, if you were to take the position of the first area pressed and get the distance between that and the middle point, the logicaly conclusion would be that the second point would be the same distance in the same direction.

Of course this is only theoretically speaking. Until we actually see some would use the above said method, multitouch on the DS remains a mystery.

linkman2004, that would have the same effect as just touching the screen in the middle.

DS doesn't support multi-touch, but it can fake it. If you don't believe me, then go play Rub Rabbits.

Anyone who buys this for a kid under 12 is going to end up with a busted DS.

I'm guessing it will be tap left, tap right, and tap middle..with tap middle being from actually one tap to the middle or with a tap to each side resulting in a midpoint tap to the middle.
