Our Vampire-killing hero does seem to move a bit stiff compared to the fluid motion of the enemies.

I really like the boss introduction! Very cool that it opens in 3D and then goes back to 2D. So cool!

Looks fun. But they're going to let us run in the final build, right?

I cant remember in any of the Castelvania games , that the main character would have had fluid movement :?

Saigon: I highly doubt it. Konami's keeping it old-school

Alien: Symphony of the Night, Dawn of Sorrow, etc

Anyway, Richter does look a little stiff. Maybe that's because he mainly has the same animations he had in the original Dracula X game (Re-done in 3D naturally). They should've reworked the mid-air whip animation tho... like older Castlevanias, the character looks as if he was standing in the air while attacking.

"The latest video from High Score's week-long Castlevania series highlights some of the incredible animation featured in the game."

...sure.

I never gave this any thought before, but now it seems pretty hilarious the way almost everything bursts into flames when it's destroyed.

After playing the incredibly fluid 2D Castlevania's of the last decade(except COTM). I was hoping Konami would keep that style of animation and control.

But now I have concerns for this release as it may turn off some fans.

The more I see of it the more I'm not really liking the 2.5D so much. Of course I'm going to buy the game anyway....but as we know the original 2D version will also be included on the UMD, so I might just play that instead.
