I guess I agree... There really isn't a huge motivation to incorporate it considering the extra dev and testing time needed.

Hopefully Microsoft can work on it though to make it more compelling to developers.

I think Dustin got 'Live Anywhere' confused with 'Games for Windows Live'

I listen to both GFW and 360Fanboy podcasts, and it is interesting to hear the difference in opinions on Live Anywhere. A lot of the GFW staff sound upset that games are being toned down on the PC (aiming for instance) while on the 360 gamers are happy to just get another good game. If Live Anywhere is going to succeed it must overcome the difference in console and PC gaming, and the developers must make the playing field equal without hurting one side or the other.

No i belive that this was announced a while back at The MS keynote. It was somthing about the ablity to use your windows moble enabled phones to play certain arcade games with 360 and PC users such as uno and unlock Achievements. I also heard that it would go deeper than that allowing you to sign in through passport and acess your 360 and the market place. So your at school or work and your friend tells you about a demo thats out instead of wating to get home wip out the cell and tell your box to download it then turn off.It would also do things like trading objects that were in 360 games or pc games like the cars in the above pic.

All in all it sounds very cool it was supposed to be laucned a while back with GFW but i thought they forgot about it. Its good to see thier at least trying

I think their is a solid middle ground out there for some mini-games related to the original game that could be loaded on a windows mobile device (like the old Dreamcast tamagochi on steroids) What if you could load a Pinata from Viva Pinata on your phone and train them? A small side game that could have an effect on your main game.

Infinity Ward said the same thing in Game Informer's CoD4 cover story a month ago.

I don't see what'd be the problem if offering servers for PC gamers only, servers for console gamers only, and servers for cross platform play, with a disclaimer that using a controller puts you at a disadvantage?
Who cares about competition?
Some of my friends don't have 360s.
I'd love to play games with them online, even if they'd beat me.

The fact is, competitive bafoons are going to end up ruining for the real people who want to have fun.

Live anywhere has absolutely nothing to do with enhancing the gaming experience. The only point of it is it to make Live the standard in the majority of online games. You people showed MS how stupid a lot of consumers are by paying for peer to peer gaming. Now they want to steal from every gamer on every platform.
