The other character sprites previously shown have looked nice, but this one looks pretty bad. The body looks totally stiff and disproportionate, especially in the standing pose. And where are his eyes? I know Guile has a thick, shadowy brow but this just looks like his eyes were plucked out. I'm hoping there'll be some further changes...

For those who are asking about framerate, it will be like the old school sf2 game. The reason is because Capcom USA do not want to offend the tournament players. One concern is if they add more frames, the tournament players have to learn new combos because their old ones will be off synch.

Personally, if these so called vetern tournament players are all that great , I don't see what the problem of adding new frames will do since learning new combos wouldn't be such as hard task for them...unless they get most of their combos from game magazines as oppose of discovering it themselves

I can't resist posting...

Canebi, thanks for the chuckle. HAHA. That was funny.

I'm looking forward to this title. The high def graphics are just going to POP on my HDTV. Thank Capcom for giving SF the old school sprite love that it deserves. I can't wait.

CAN ANYONE GET A DATE ON THIS??? I
m sure it's going to be at least $19.99.

Guys guys...

You're missing the big issue about this release on the XBLA.

The controller sucks for 2D games. The + Pad on the 360 is horrible, and you can't use the analog stick.. because that sucks. Try casting spells in Castlevania: SotN without screwing up. You can't.

If you say you can, you're damned liar.

I grew up on SF, and love the game... I mean I really love the game... but... for crying out loud... they have been re-making that same game for last 20 years.. How many more times would you like us to buy the same game?

Time to evolve boys..that 8 track is not cutting it anymore... and redrawing sprites in higher resolution is not evolution...

There is nothing wrong with Guile's tattoo. In the US military, the flag is positioned incorrect to the outside viewer but is faced 'correct' as if the soldier is looking at the flag. You can look at any picture with the flag on their getup. The flag you are seeing on Guile has nothing to do with the rendering. It's good to invest in some US history before making a idiotic statement such as that :P

Im really not liking this art style. I wish they had the original "talented" Capcom artist doing these sprites, like someone said before, this looks like bad fanart.

@56, no he's right. He said the left, not the right tattoo was backwards. The US military shoulder patches are placed so that the blue canton is toward the front of the person, making it seem like they are blowing with the "wind" of a forward-moving soldier. Admittedly a very minor point, but it was odd that it was one of the first things I noticed, too.
