Soul Calibur IV's bountiful bouncing breasts bulge bigger
Although women are objectified more often in almost every visual media, as we learned this weekend, boys do not come out unscathed in the virtual world's impact on our precious psyches. And as much as we like to view mountainous mammaries, seriously ... look at those things. It's full-on Jerry Springer material and completely inefficient for fighting. At least Ivy used to have a breast plate, now it's a string top where if the blade hits it the right way her bosoms come flowing out.
We're not saying she's got to proportionally tone it down and get a full body remake like Lara Croft did for Legend, but Ivy's battling Rachel in a quest for the most ridiculous cleavage in a video game. At least Extreme Beach Volleyball keeps its breasts in context.

and for Alexander Sliwinski watch the opening and look at the art work in SCII (I have a GC so I can;t say SCIII) and you'll see they just made her fit how she was actually designed

Who knows, they might have a strategic value. The larger they are, the more mass they have and carry a lot of inertia as they move. You might be able to use them to smack your opponent around, but watch those sudden jumps and turns or else you'll just be along for the ride as they bound around the stage like bouncing jello molds.

Have never been a huge fan of IVY.......
But look at it this way.....for all these next-gen projects.....these poor developers are sequestered away in their offices for even longer away from natural sunlight and their view is probably being skewed from all the "Work Break" strip club visits they are able to fit in.
Maybe instead of an Amorphous Whip Sword....one of her boobs can lash out at you instead this time.
