Yeah I see what you mean, we do seem to be getting quite a few SRPG's (American & Japanese). The only new Final Fantasy like game coming out (Summer) soon is Brave Story, which I've been hearing and reading nothing good things about it. You can add 3 more if you count the remakes (Riviera, Final Fantasy I & II).

Nope. I bought Tales of Eternia thinking it was a turn based RPG. It's still good, but I would have enjoyed it more if it were turn based. I like turn based games, so I'm looking forward to Jeanne de Arc and DnD tactics, but I still want more turn based RPGs...

Amen to that. Every coming RPG is either SRPG or some quirky action/RPG hybrid of sorts. Nice to read someone else who likes traditional turn-based RPGs.

That's why I'm waitng for Brave Story. Classic RPG gameplay! Dunno if the game's good or not, but I've seen some videos over at Youtube and graphics-wise it looks pretty sweet, at least.

Wasn't this song in a Gundam intro or was it in Neon Genesis Evangelion intro? I swear I heard it in an anime before, and for some reason I think it was a maecha anime.

Not to upset those who are tired of turn based strategy coming to the PSP, but Games Workshop just announced one as well :)
