Lego reveals more Batman info

Lego has revealed a couple more details about Traveler's Tales (Lego Star Wars) upcoming take on the Dark Knight. Even though the game is not expected to launch until fall of 2008, Lego says that gamers will be able to play as either Batman or Robin roaming the streets of Gotham City. Players will also take control of villains and have co-op modes. The game will also feature "all the characters" from the Lego Batman set.We hope the game has the same charm which made the Lego Star Wars series a sleeper hit. For all we know, TT games may very well announce some more entries into the Lego brand video game series.

This could have the potential to be the best (and probably only the only good) Batman title yet.

Batman Returns on Genesis was okay, once you got over the finicky controls.
I think the Lego Whatever franchise is one of the coolest ideas to come out of the industry in a while. I wonder what took them so long.

Notice how Lego Star Wars left out any content suggesting 3-PO is gay? I don't care if he was British. I want our paranoia, about anything that doesn't fit our masculine standards, to be pandered to.
That means basically being Bruce Wayne's foster child is no excuse for how close Dick Grayson is to Mr. Wayne. So we had better see those two act touchy-feely while in their costumes in this game.

The next Lego game will be Indiana Jones, Lego has 8 sets based on all 4 movies coming out in 2008.
