When Gamespot posted their hands-on Beautiful Katamari preview they mentioned that the game would be available exclusively on the XBLA. Which caused a little confusing to how much the game was actually beefed out and what would have to change since it would have to fit the XBLA size requirements. But it looks like we don't have to worry about any of that, because Gamespot retracted their Beautiful Katamari on XBLA talk and now say that the game will be released in a "full retail package". So, believe what you wish. But we ask, which would you have preferred? A cheaper Arcade Katamari or the whole big shebang retail Katamari?
Beautiful Katamari isn't XBLA material

Full retail, personally... although I hope it keeps the PS2 Katamari tradition of being relatively inexpensive.
I was actually kind of worried what would happen to the music if it was an XBLA title.

I'm so confused by what this game is, it doesn't matter.

#1 - Agreed, the music is one of the best parts of the franchise. Full retail is ideal.

I'm sure it will be priced around $39.99.
To respond to #2 - youtube Katamari.

the game is very simplistic and very addicting. You'll never play anything like it. It's mind blowing how the creator came up with such an odd concept! LOL I can't wait!

I wished that it would come as a cheap XBLA game. I wish.. :( I'm not gonna buy this as a full retail, no thanks. Too pricy for this game imo.

I want a full retail release for this new version of the game - and have the originals up on XBLA. That'd be the best of all worlds.

Katamari is certainly a very odd title. But whoever created this game is a genius.
It's very difficult to explain without making it seem boring. I suggest you find a friend with a ps2 and rent one of the Katamari games to see if it's your liking.
It is very humorous. I actually laughed out loud during some of the dialogue, and that's pretty rare. There is nothing quite like getting ripped and playing this game

the whole game on a disk would definitely be better. I loved the game on ps2 and will probably buy it again since I sold my ps2 during christmas. I will buy it again.
