You sony trolls are so predictable. So because people enjoy the Wii and more and more people are finding out how great of a system it is they're gullible idiots?

Haters...the ps3 sucks to the general population. Its got stuff that we don't need and we don't want. The Wii on the other hand is a great system with a great variety of games that provide lots of fun. So why not focus on your OWN system instead of crying about how popular and sucessful Nintendo is.

Or maybe a Wii60 instead of a PS3... Wii60 has more value than the PS3.

My Wii has been on 7 times since Nov '06. I consider it a complete waste of a console for me at this point, so I wouldn't recommend getting a Wii60 or a PSWii or even a WiiWii.

My Wii has been on everyday since launch day.

My 360 has been on every week since I got it last summer.

My PS3 was turned on once, to watch a BluRay movie. Then it caught fire. My dog died trying to put it out. Moor told me that it'll all be okay because there's TONS of EXCITING games coming. "Just wait", they told me. I wish they told my dog that. Now he's playing the Wii up in doggy heaven and waiting for Halo 3 to launch so he can totally pwn yous.

Well, the DS is selling double that. Weekly. In Japan alone.

Someone should keep track of how fast people get tired of their Wiis. I fell for all the hype and bought one, and it just collects dust now.

talk all the shit you want people the Wii is selling like crazy weather you like it or not, and last gen the Cube was in second worldwide (yes i know 3rd in the U.S. but the world is bigger than just the U.S. guys) and nintendo made more profits last gen then the xbox and ps2 combined, Nintendo is doing something right so hate all you want haters, try doing something more constructive like having fun playing what ever system you prefer, I'm having a blast with my Wii60 combo.

Awesome. The Wii really is owning this generation. No surprise really, I've played Mario Football more times than I've booted up either my PS3 or 360. With gameplay like that it's no real surprise it's doing so well.

I think it's time for a Joystiq poll...

Ever see computer gamers not confident in their medium around console gamers who don't care about their rig, lol talk up inferiority complex. That is how the Sony and MS fanboys are getting, more and more everyday nobody cares about their big boy toys so they are left trolling the forums.

Now don't get me wrong I have know gamers with Pure beast computers, not open their mouth and say a word about gaming till I say something about a game like Half Life then they pwn my knowledge out loud. But the fake hardcore that buy systems and rigs for status, and praise they're always good for a laugh.

I'm loving my Wii. I just wish that the developers planned ahead and made a better "first wave" of games. And for the record, it's getting used almost daily.

Im honestly shocked at how fast you guys slam the PS3. The story could be about a new computer game and someone would jump in with. "I love my Wii60 combo." Or, "Im just glad I didnt get a PS3." Completely off the topic, as long as you get in your word. Then you turn around and say how horrible PS3 owners are, and that they are nothing but fanboys. Go ahead, start looking at these threads, 90% of them have some anti-sony comment within the first 10 comments.
So why all the hate? You call yourself gamers right?What sense does it make to hate one console? A gamer wouldnt do that. People who cant afford it would. I for one have all three and enjoy them all for their own reasons. Sure they all have a downfall, the 360 is the most unreliable system ever made, the PS3 has barely any games, and the Wii's graphics are very poor. But once again, they all rock for their own reasons.

The PS3 doesn't rock. It's why I ended up losing money on my Japan import model. I should have sold it BEFORE it launched it Europe. Ho hum! I'm a gamer and can afford them but I get rid of units that take up room and have no use. But now we're jumping off topic.

Well the PS3 has averaged around 150K a month in the US this year and recent months have seen it dip as low as 80K. Basically, objectively looking at those numbers it would be fair to say we could be looking at a dead system here, the US is after all Sony's strongest market.

In conclusion if you're going to pity anyone pity PS3 owners who don't care about BR.

The Nintendo Wii is selling faster than a Boomer hopped up on a Columbian powder monkey! As if they weren't before, Nintendo is probably grinning like a shot fox because the Wii just set a new sales record 'ere in th' down under! 100,000 in not even 6 months! From the Top Eders to th' Never Nevers to th' Crow Eaters, Ozzies are grousing for the Wii!
This must have Microsoft spewin' since it beats the Xbox 360's record by heaps! he Nintendo Wii launched in Oz on December 7, 2006! Although this won't stop Sony fans from having their small poppy syndrome, we'll 'ave to wait 'n' see if the PS3 c'n outsell the Wii in the same time!

Either way, it's cause for celebration here in Aussie! Break out the slab of Four-X and skol some amber fluid! We're gonna have a ripper of a party!

I agree about the anti Sony comments but I'll also have to say the same for anti-wii comments. It seems that the 360 and the DS are the only ones not constantly being bashed by someone.

I guess people just like bashing, that's the only proper conclusion. I personally enjoy my wii and could care less about the PS3 however I could also could care less about whether some other person is enjoying their PS3 (or any other system). I say good for them its their choice, happy gaming. But what I do get annoyed about is when someone tries to tell me that I shouldn't be having fun w/ my system or that I'm stupid for even owning one.

Why does anybody really GAF what someone else likes and why. Personally it just seems immature. Anyways to all you gamers (nintendo, sony, ms, pc, handheld, whatever) Happy gaming.

Also my Wiis been on daily since I got it almost a month ago so I don't know what your all complaining about. So far the onl problem I've had is my controller breaking for no appearent reason.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised, most people in the U.S. seem to think we ride Kangaroos to work...

I played the Wii pretty much for two weeks, now the kids play it when they get bored once in a while. I have three games for my PS3, and when there is a rare multi-platform title launches for the PS3/Xbox 360 I buy it for the 360 because the online component is so much better.

That was a really long way of saying the Wii and PS3 was a waste of money and time.
