Ten years of E3: take a ride on the gaming carousel

John Callaham over at Firing Squad has been attending E3 for the past ten years, and he decided to take a trip down memory lane. He was there for console launches, game announcements (some of which have yet to see the light of day) and took the trip as it moved from Atlanta to Los Angeles, even delving into the Playboy Mansion, Dodger Stadium, and the House of Blues.

He breaks it down in a convenient year-by-year format, and hits the highlights from each convention. Just like the rest of us, he's wondering what this reborn, smaller E3 will bring next month.
