Believe it or not: Zelda in Smash Bros Brawl

I expected Zelda to be in it, but if it's TP's Zelda then I'm wondering weather Sheik will be in it. Thats the important thing, since it was a pretty big part of Zelda's character in melee.

I agree with #16. Just tells us who all the characters are. Im hoping that there are as much characters in brawl as there were in melee or more then. Im hoping for Mewtwo and a few other pokemon characters. I remember leaving my cube on for the night to get him

Not that I'm particularly bothered by the change, I actually just thought she looked better as a blond.

I wonder if Zelda is going to get a completely different move set in SSBB? She did do some fighting in TP, so it seems like she should get some new moves based on that.

Of course, I think she also used her sword in that one scene, and it looks like she doesn't have one in SSBB...

keep in mind that this zelda is not the same zelda who was in OoT, remember TP takes place50 or so years after )0oT so like some are saying, 0 suit samus might be her replacment. the fact that 0suit has a blaster(shiek's kunai) and a laser whip kind of screams that, but who knows

That was a very old rumour, that was proven fake by the creator, who only wanted attention. Ice Climbers and Game and Watch are likely to return because

A. Japan loves them. They were #2 and #1, respectively, on the "I want to Return" poll.
B. There is no reason to get rid of them.

Only expect Pichu, Roy, Doctor Mario, Young Link, and Jiggilypuff to not make a reappearance.

As for Zelda. She looks GREAT! They did a good job.

Link's hair used to be brown, then it turned blonde, Now Zelda (blonde) is turning brunette? I don't like it and I don't think it's nitpicking. Link's hair change was fine becauses it was early on at a time when you couldn't even tell what color Link's hair was in-game. The only way you knew he had brown hair was from the art. But now that we've come to know a blonde Zelda for the past 21 years they suddenly change it? How's that nitpicking? How would you like it if Sumus turned brunette, or if Master Cheif's suit became officially blue? What if Solid Snake became a red-head? Or if Sonic turned green? What if Link's tunic was pink? Or if Ryu Hayabusa wore bright yellow? People care about the basic design of a character that they've come to know and love. And a think like hair color is something people identify a character by. And you mock the people who don't approve? Kinda assholey aren'tcha, Joystiq?

Samus WAS brunette in Metroid 1.

And her hair wasn't such a bright shade of blond in Metroid Prime either.

Come to think of it, Peach and Zelda also had brown hair in Super Mario 1 and Zelda 1 and 2.
