I'd love both the 5-6 player and the Cities & Knights expansions for Catan.

However, Carcassonne is an instant buy for me (like Catan was).

"I don't want to talk to you no more, you empty headed animal food trough wiper. I fart in your general direction. Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries."

I love that movie...

Thanks a lot, Alex, now I have to go watch Holy Grail for the 63rd time!

OT, I won't be wasting my cash on this.

The only XBLA board games I will buy are Ker Plunk, Knock Knock, and Don't Tip the Waiter (and maybe Hungry Hungry Hippos if it's 4-player)

I will be spending my money on this.

Carcassonne is the best "card and board" game I have ever played and will play the hell out of the digital version (assuming the devs aren't idiots).

This alone is reason to buy a 360 for me. If I had the cash. And didn't own the tabletop version. Online and offline makes it even better. Now if only there were more tiles/expansions.

And I'm not sure about that whole 10-20 minutes thing. Unless there's a lot less tiles or something. I tend to play the tabletop with 3-6 people, and we rarely finish under an hour. Sometimes it's even closer to two.

I'm waking up early on Wednesday and playing a game before I get to work! This is awesome news!

Games will take 10-20 minutes versus the AI, and it'll also go quicker online when there's a timer for placing your tile. Carcassonne only needs to take an hour when some of the players get analysis paralysis, and sit there with their tile for 5 minutes every time.

Oh, this game is definitely getting picked up. I've played it, and I think it's the most addictive title since Catan:

It's worth the $10, I'm picking it up Wednesday, and I hope to see you online!

4 players, 4 wireless controllers, 46" HDTV, lots of beer. Nuff said.

That got a giggle out of me. However there always seems to be a severe lack of "man from scene 24" references. ANYWHERE.

I love the analog versions of both these games, and play them literally every week.

When you think about it, the Catan collectors edition is like, $350 bucks. So maybe having a $400 system to play it isnt so bad?
