Are there any plans for these to eventually be freebies? If so then I may wait.

PRE-EFFING-SIDEO?!?!!?
although, I would rather play the original. Man, back in the hay-day, I would be able to outlean just about anyone and pop them in the head with a pea-shooter!

For 500 points I would have picked it up. But, after the red pack, no new gamemodes or achievements for the same price? No thanks.

I might pick it up just because of Presidio!! Greatest R6 map EVER

I would easily fork over $10 if they remade the original levels of the first Rainbow Six 3. Seriously, Presido, City Streets Large, Old City, Warehouse, Close Quarters, etc. There's even a name for it already, Remix Pack and then add achievements to them it would sell like hot cakes.

New Maps for R6V = A Must Buy

I enjoyed R6V a lot and really enjoyed the beating the single player on realistic but when it came time to purchase the content everyone I knew was buying, I decided to pass and sold the game. This was the first time I saw DLC as being a game's demise.

U have a Wii dont U.
Topic.
Hmm, I didnt get the last pack and now here is another. I payed 59.99 for r6v and didnt feel it was worth another ten then. Plus when the last map pack came out that when every1 basically stopped playing this game, or at least stopped caring about it. SO now here we R with R6V still running for 59.99 and 20 dollars of DL content to buy if U wanna play what every1/few else is playing. I like this game but not enough to pay for anything else other than the actual purchase of it. BAH!

I thought the red pack was a complete waste of money. My friends and i got it and tried out the 2 new game modes.... they sucked compared to attack and defend. After a few days we reverted back to ol' calypso casino attack and defend.

Oh wow, so owning a Wii is supposed to be a bad thing? I don't actually own one, nor do I plan to. Thanks for asking though.
Funny thing is, we play full games of R6 quite often. We haven't been playing much of the red pack as a few of our group have yet to pick it up.
My point was, why pay the same for a 5 map pack, when the previous release had 5 maps + two new game modes?
And as you would put it:
"If U dont wanna play what every1 else is, then U dont have too"

These come with the PS3 version.
What happened to the statement by that MS guy on Major Nelson that said MS wouldn't charge for content that's free on other systems?

Hey dont get smart with me.
I asked if U had a Wii because U said 500 points which is a very common amount of point cost for downloadable wii content but not so common on 360. 360's magic# is 400.
I never said anything about anything else concerning that.

@ ccc
Yeah, except when you buy points online it is in blocks of 500. GH2 songs were 500 a set, as well as other stuff recently that I can't remember right now.
Hugs 'n kisses.

I wonder if the cost of the original game, plus the Live pay-for-only contents equal a sum that only Ubi can claim in terms of the most expensive non-MMORPG game on the planet.

Maybe, but I think Guitar Hero 2 has it beat with the initial cost of the game being 30 dollars more than R6V and GH2's downloadable content is crazy priced, agreed most didnt get it but some people did. Bottoma line is, its between R6V GH2 and Gears of war for that title at this point.
