Calling 1-800 Magic, episodes 2 and 3
Since unveiling their Shadowrun machinima series 1-800-MAGIC (no, it's not a full phone number but it still works -- it's that magical), Rooster Teeth have released two more episodes in the series.
When we last left off, our scrawny protagonist with a malfunctioning weapon was mysteriously teleported to ... well, somewhere. Episode two answers that question and more, such as, "why does it smell like bacon?" Episode three marks the return of the unhelpful customer service rep. Say what you will about Shadowrun, but it has certainly set the stage for a great machinima series.

Oh yeah, just a reminder, 1-800-MAGIC is just a mini-series to promote Shadowrun. They did a similar mini-series for F.E.A.R. called P.A.N.I.C.S. (People Acting Normal In Crazy-ass Situations).

E.J. - I'm pretty sure that 1-800-MAGIC isn't commissioned work, although apparently Shadowrun needs all the positive publicity/press possible given the reviews and consequent rebuttal by Gitelman (which generally wasn't well-received by gamers as well). PANICS was commissioned by Monolith, but 1-800-MAGIC is done on RvB's own accord. BTW, I assumed that when you wrote "promote" you meant that it is commissioned by Microsoft in order to sell more copies of $hadowrun.

Hm... Personally I love Shadowrun. I don't understand all the hate for it. Sure, it doesn't have a single player campaign and it's listed at full price... Neither did Battlefield 1942 or Battlefield 2 and those were amazing games, both listed at full price.
