Episode 100 of Red Vs Blue closes the series this Wednesday

Tomorrow night marks not only the hundredth episode of the hysterical web series, Red vs Blue, but also the end of the road for the show that taught the world what machinima is, even if its creators had no idea what that was to begin with.
As a primer for the conclusion, Wired's Chris Kohler lays out a brief history of the folks behind the series, Rooster Teeth, as well as where they'll be going from here. While they'll continue to make the occasional Red vs Blue special, this will be the end of a four year journey for the fine men, women, aliens and talking bombs that make up the Blood Gulch population.
The series finale will be made available for all tomorrow evening with no specific time in place. For those who need to play catch up, the current season is available for free.

After Session 2 and Rooster Teeth whoring out to other games...who cares anymore?
2ez @ Jun 26th 2007 5:52PM
Good.

I've never played Halo either, but I found it hilarious. Kinda sad to see it end, but better to have the whole thing short, but all good, than to lengthen it only to have it degrade to blah.
Now all we need are the movie deals for iMax

I don't get it. They haven't even ventured into Halo 3 yet.
And they seem to be tying it all up in the last episode. Very Spiderman 3-ish.

Oh shut up. As long as their funny, I don't care how many games Rooster Teeth "whore" out to.
Staggs @ Jun 26th 2007 7:05PM
This makes me sad. I started watching RvB on the seventh episode and now it's coming to an end.

See that is the problem. I would not mind if the shows after Season 2 would be funny...but guess what? They suck. Horribly.
Dragod @ Jun 26th 2007 7:30PM
Here's to hoping There's a Red vs Blue for Halo 3 somewhere down the road!

I'm with sidepocket. The show was absolutely brilliant until they converted to Halo 2 in my opinion. It was all downhill from there. The first few were absolutely great though.

I am a RvB subscriber and they have definitely furnished us with tons of hilarity. We had a RvB weekend recently at a HALO2 lanfest and 48 of us laughed through several hours of their escapades. On the eve of the biggest HALO title yet, the guys and girls from Rooster Teeth will be sorely missed.

i agree R vs B lost its toach in halo 2 but it gets much better later on those who gave up on the show in the beggining of halo 2 miss alot of hilarious episodes like episode 56 bow chica bow wow

episode 100 seems to compacted & may be a lost coast unless its one long episode personally this ending could be worst then the sopranos ending
hunter @ Jun 28th 2007 4:33PM
yes red vrs blue blood gulch Chronicles is end but i think there is going to be a new red vs blue like in said of blood gulch chronicles. last resort chronicles or some new map of halo 3
GK @ Jun 28th 2007 10:48PM
its possibly just the end of bloodgultch cronicles and Halo 3 might have a brandnew setting else where
Zoner @ Jun 29th 2007 11:02AM
RvB had some good, and some bad episodes, episode 100 is long, very long, i've seen it, and a bit drawn out, (the title is the same as episode 1's) i didn't really enjoy alot of the episodes, but there are some gems in there. But ep 100 lives up to the expectation, and wth? to the ending :D
lol bob @ Jun 30th 2007 6:00PM
they already did something with the halo 3 beta
for those stupid people who didn't know
just search on youtube, google video or gametrailers.com and you'll find it
ILIKESOUP @ Jul 17th 2007 12:11AM
rooster teeth said it was the end of the blood-gulch chronicles not rvb itself
